Since everyone is talking about cheesecake factory, one of my favorite fun facts about that place is they (unusually for a chain) make almost all of the food of their giant menu in house. The big exception, ironically, is the cheesecake

sparing a moment for all the medieval warriors slain because they didn't stretch properly, pleading to god in the half second before getting their head stove in by ordo of mainz because at the critical moment they came up short with a yanged hammy

‘Wicker’ stars Alexander Skarsgård as a man made entirely of wicker, complete with a rock-hard wicker dick. But what about splinters? Bacteria? Degradation? Would it be advisable, from a sexual-health perspective, to mount a basket dick? We asked a gynecologist: vulture.visitlink.me/DNQwX5

Oh, Miranda, what have you done? "Walking really helped my fatigue based illness." Nooooooooo. Oh, this is awful for us. Not under tge ME/CFS umbrella please, not after all that we've been through. The backlash will become worse for her now. Unhelpfully. Maybe she won and donated at least.

At long last, we have created a way for you to take away Nikki's free will, from the classic horror movie "don't take away Nikki's free will"

Nikki from OBSESSION joins FORTNITE tomorrow. You wished for this...

Watching Miranda on Celebrity Traitors is putting me at risk of Having Feelings, as was when the hosts on TREI indicated their intention to talk about her emotional 'scene' on E6. But then they called it "beautiful" and "lovely," and wow is that A Different Perspective From Mine. Yay, suffering?! 😬😆

I will probably make this joke when rewatching later with Bob. Because taking the piss of tv shows and fameos abd messing with my partner is part of my connection and play and joy. Or something. 😁

I DO vaguely get it. It's genuinely wonderful that Miranda Hart is so much better and finding joy and doing a lot for the cause. I'm very familiar with the concept of happy tears and the complexity of emotions. I'm also very familiar with the quiet suffering of health-related grief, which that was.

Miranda's words were lovely, however. And beautiful. Perhaps that's what my fave's Richard and Marina meant. Improvement is lovely and beautiful, obviously. I am really warming to Miranda, having only ever thought her sit-com was QUITE good and heard some dubious things about her autobiography.

Halloween ought to be scary!

not cool with the subtle inclusion of dragons into the halloween canon. dragons aren’t “monsters” and they’re definitely not ghouls. more akin to a griffin or unicorn

the pumpkin itself is not smiling. it’s the face you’ve carved into it that grins. something to remember when they turn on us

Just saw that Republicans spent $25,000 on attack ads against Susan Collins in Portland Oregon instead of Portland Maine. This is what happens when you bias loyalty over competence. Keep at it

Once me and my colleague-friend were briefly in Italy for work (this is also when I was ill and got ME/CFS, don't be too jealous) and we went to Venice for the day and took a photo of ourselves in front of what we hoped was the building in which Robert Browning died. Life is strange isn't it?

I vaugely remember that in his office, where he held seminars, my professor and friend's dad a large crucifix and family photographs, presumably featuring her. And I actually saw her dad again at the christening of my friend's son i.e. his grandson. Does that make them 'god botherer's? 😆😇😆😇

Welcome to the wild world of compound nouns, self. Charity muggers aren't mugging the charity are they? Usually ;-) One did once run towards me to give me a hug and then stopped when she realised we'd previously met socially and I wasn't the stranger she thought. It amused me.

We actually became colleagues and friends and have worked and/or hung out together in at least 5 different countries. And at some point we realised that her dad, who has a different surname, was one of my lecturers during my degree. He taught 'The Brownings' and 'Byron and the Shelleys'.

Recently realised that the answer I've always given for the identifying question "who was your first kiss?" is WRONG. I was actually smooching some boy a tiny bit at my international guide and scout camp when I was 12 for a couple of days. His name? No idea. Some boring typical white boy name.

Have I overthought it or did non-binary Bella Ramsey sitting in that "castle" with the face of a preteen, hardcore boarding school fits, short dark hair and THOSE black round glasses seem like they was trolling literally everyone... whilst doing nothing at all...? I loved it. Farewell my sweet.
