There's a lot I don't understand about the USA. Right now, I don't understand why people aren't physically trying to stop construction of the bunker. You know that they are going to take sanctuary there while they wage war on you, right?

If you use the term "centrist" I will not take your comments seriously. It is a derogatory term that serves little descriptive purpose. Likewise "establishment", which is just a synonym for "deep state". Life is too serious for that lazy bullshit.

I will never understand why the threat of catastrophic climate change hasn't been the most important issue for everyone over the last 20 years. I don't even bother anymore, it's far too late to do anything about it now or to even lessen the impacts.

As the Mid-Terms draw closer, expect to see a HUGE uptick in the number of people trying to discourage voting by spreading "both parties are the same" or "voting doesn't change anything" type messages. They know that the only way for the GOP to survive is for most Americans to fail to vote.

It's hard to understand why devastating climate change, an existential threat to us all, is not on most people's radar. The current regime in the USA really put the kibosh on preparation and mitigation. Well, I am sure that THEY are preparing to look after themselves (see Bunker/Ballroom).

I think the confusion is on purpose. Supporting America 250 is giving in the finger to Freedumb 250.

Congress created the United States Semiquincentennial Commission, d/b/a "America 250," that was supposed to be in charge of the commemorations. Trump ransacked and sidelined it, and imposed his own "Freedom 250" partisan personality cult shitshow. That's the org that's taken over the Mall.

Noticing a piece of the new “American flag blue” liner that was partially detached from the Reflecting Pool, David Hearn said he reached in to see what it felt like. Moments later, U.S. Park Police officers arrested him on a misdemeanor charge of destruction of government property. wapo.st/4xVNzcS

Around the world the oligarchs and the dictators are building bunkers. Some will have ballrooms on top.

The horn of Africa is grieving because their -Their farms are no longer yielding -Advancement of desert is alarming -Our major rivers are drying -Proliferation of pest and pathogens -Development of tropical diseases. -Our crop are dieing out. Climate change is a reality.

The best Texans really are outstanding people. I always love spending time with Jesse Plemons; be it Fargo, or No Activity, or Bugonia. He has that quiet, deep, cool.

The 2025 presidential election was an impossible choice with no right answer. Just accept that other beings with free will, even if they have the same information and ends as you, will make decisions you wouldn't have. That's literally the cost of not being the only person. There, I fixed it.

Progressives are just as enamoured with the cult of personality as magats. All looking for a saviour. There is no saviour, just groups of good people with a common cause who can only get into power with an electorate's full support.
