Thank you all for coming to the stream! It felt so good to be back! One of the things I've been working on is a new ref sheet. Here you have it! #higartdo

they're all fluffed up and swishing it

Watched Norm: The Tale of Norm Macdonald. The documentary is supposed to emulate the rabbit hole you go when looking at his videos on YouTube. Kinda interesting on paper, but in reality not really. There was probably 30 seconds of stuff that I hadn’t actually watched by him in here.

I suppose this might work better for someone who knows nothing of him, as an introduction to his work? These Netflix comedy docs have been very lackluster.

When playing randos, I only have pings activated on Deadlock, messages and voice chat are muted by default. But still I can see that they're typing something by the "..." I feel protected and go "teehee they're probably mad at me but I don't care"

The game said "If I go down I'm taking you with me" and it did. It inflicted mortal wounds on my mind and soul.

We got a deathless run on Castlevania for the NES! Let's try and beat Super Castlevania IV for the SNES now! Come keep me company.

"SUPER SOFTWARE FOR HAPPY PEOPLE." What a cute Druaga-themed paper bag from the heyday of its 80s popularity. Dempa Microcomputer Software ported quite a few arcade hits to Japanese computers, so it's likely a promo item from them.

It's (most likely) the finale of the game! Come join us! If we finish early we'll try a Classicvania challenge...

Playing Shantae for the first time! It's Shantae and the Pirate's Curse! Starting now...

Watched the first Saw movie after god knows how many years and I think it becomes dull at several moments, but I still gotta respect how influential it was and those last five minutes. Even today they retain power.

After finishing the Entertainment District Arc in Demon Slayer (the TV series) I think it's a wonderful and a beautiful anime at times sure, but I do have some criticisms. The flashbacks are expertly executed, but at what point does it feel less as a resources and more as a crutch or formula?

At some moments I was thinking, that could also be employed in different parts of the narrative, not solely as a way to enhance a particularly dramatic part of the fight, or after the fight. Same with dramatism and boiling points. Have too much of it and they flatten or equalize the scenery.

I understand this might be widespread in shonen, but still having three or four moments in which the heroes are at their lowest makes it almost comical. We become numb to it by the end.

Since getting a TourBox I’ve been thinking about how different drawing on the pc is from doing it traditionallly. You enter into certain rhythms and create mental pathways that are constantly solved in a second, like: zoom, rotate, eyedropper, fill.

With the TourBox I have to create muscle memory for all that again. It slows the creative process down for sure, and I have to take breaks and bring the keyboard back at times. It’s a process that’s gonna take weeks, almost like learning a new musical instrument. I do hope the result is interesting.

Dentist appointment today right in the middle of what would be a stream... apologies! We'll continue with Cave Story, and finish it if we can, tomorrow Wednesday 07!

In Luigi’s Mansion , when Luigi gets an item it’s no longer the sound of “Luigi got an item”, but rather “Cherry Scampers got a raid”. For me, at least.
