The Republican Party of Florida is suing to stop you from seeing this ad. They threatened TV stations with criminal charges for running it. We’re not taking it down. We will make this as clear as possible to all Floridians: James Uthmeier and Ashley Moody stole $10 million from sick kids.

🧵6/7 Their campaign is rooted in solutions rather than division, and in service rather than political spectacle. The Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida believes this ticket represents our best opportunity to move Florida forward and build a state where every family has the opportunity to succeed.

🧵5/7 Together, David Jolly and Gwen Graham have presented a vision focused on strengthening public education, making Florida more affordable, protecting fundamental freedoms, restoring integrity to state government, and ensuring every Floridian is treated with respect.

🧵 2/7 Our endorsement followed a thorough and deliberative process. We met with the candidates, reviewed their records, evaluated their vision for Florida, and carefully considered who is best prepared not only to win in November but also to govern effectively on behalf of all Floridians.

🧵 3/7 David Jolly had demonstrated the courage to put principle above politics. His willingness to stand up to extremism, speak truth to power, and build broad coalitions reflects the kind of leadership that can unite Floridians across communities and political backgrounds.

Today's Supreme Court 6–3 decision reaffirmed birthright citizenship. An estimated 255,000 babies each year could have lost American citizenship despite being born on U.S. soil. We are heartened that the Court upheld the Constitution. America's children should never be used as political pawns.

Watch MAGA Mike say the quiet part out loud and admit winning the midterms is their get out of jail free card because “he is the protection program.” This is exactly why I'm voting blue and what I'm voting for in November: Accountability and an end to MAGA grifting and criming. Vote, America!

The DHCF sends our prayers and best wishes to Mayor Jerry Demings and his family following his prostate cancer diagnosis. Mayor Demings has served Floridians with strength and dedication throughout his career. We stand with him and his loved ones and wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Welcome to Trump’s inflation of choice, as consumer prices rose 3.8% in April, the highest since the post-pandemic world in May 2023. And to all the “what about Joe Biden” trolls: Biden didn't start COVID-19, but Trump did start the war in Iran. Have the day you voted for, MAGA!

A US Citizen is being held by ICE & they're ignoring a court order to release her. How many people will you pledge to talk about #ICELawlessness with? How many friends? Strangers? Many have no idea about the extent of the human rights abuses happening. The press ignores it, so it's up to us.

On Earth Day, we honor our planet & call for public policy to address climate change, & to achieve other social aims like job creation, economic growth, & reduce economic inequality. We have one planet & believe it’s so important for today & for future generations to take good care of Mother Earth!

Another Trump-endorsed far-right extremist has fallen. Watch Hungarians celebrate the loss of Viktor Orbán and cheer their next Prime Minister, Péter Magyar’s win. Congratulations, Hungary, on crushing authoritarianism. We will do the same in America in November! Winter is coming, Mr. President.

So Trump and his Pentagon MAGA sycophants threatened Pope Leo's ambassador, saying: "America has the power to do whatever it wants in the world. The Catholic Church had better take its side.” Pope Leo just doubled down on his message. Please repost if you stand with him as we do! 🔥👏🏻

While Trump is destroying the Middle East and our NATO alliance, these folks won't ever let anyone forget that what matters first to everyone is whether they can feed their families, pay their bills, afford health care, provide child care, buy clothing... the stuff we all need. go.bsky.app/FpeMh5Y

The Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida mourns the heartbreaking loss of Nancy Metayer Bowen. A compassionate leader and dedicated public servant, she made a lasting impact in Coral Springs and across our state. We hold her family and loved ones in our hearts during this difficult time.

Trump: “When somebody is nice to me, I love that person. Even if they are bad people, I couldn't care less, I’ll fight until the end for them.” Every single dictator and warmonger around the world knows this is absolutely true. That is our current foreign policy in a nutshell.

When questioned about voting by mail while trying to suppress our right to do the same, Trump’s answer was: “I used a mail-in ballot because I’m President of the United States.” Really? We are the People of the United States, and we demand the same rights! #TrumpVotedByMail

Trump blasted federal wasteful spending. Now, Trump backs the Pentagon, asking Congress for an additional $200 billion for Iran so we can all be “Tippy Top.” You know what would really be “Tippy Top”, Mr. Trump? Caring enough to fund #HealthcareNotWarfare for hard-working Americans.

Unlike the President of the United States, we extend our deepest condolences to the Mueller family and thank Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III for his honorable service to our nation. We also call for Republicans to condemn Trump for his abhorrent, disgraceful post celebrating his death.

The $191 billion ICE slush fund came at expense of Medicaid, food assistance, and support for veterans. Republicans chose warrantless searches and brutality over compassion for American families. Remember in November! #FundDHSFreezeICE

Republican policies are deeply unpopular with a large swath of the American electorate. That is why Trump said the quiet part out loud when he said the Save Act would “guarantee the midterms” in favor of his party. The #SaveActTaxesVoting to rig elections for Republicans.

The Republican supermajority legislature is adjourning today without addressing the affordability crisis, high property taxes, or passing the budget. DeSantis’ solution is to call a special session in April to redraw our maps, rather than prioritizing high costs. We will remember in November.

When DHS Secretary Noem was fired, many hoped things would improve and that the department would move away from incompetence and sheer evil. That hope was short-lived. Markwayne Mullin may be even worse. This video may give you a headache and dizziness. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.

As US oil prices surge above $104 per barrel because of their war of choice, Rep. Carlos Gimenez wants you to know that: “ You gotta pay the price. If it takes four weeks, then so be it. If it takes a bit longer, then so be it.” The midterms ads are writing themselves.

Your constitutional rights cannot carry price tags. The SAVE Act attaches price tags anyway. Republicans in Congress are trying to monetize your participation. This commodification corrupts democracy.

While Trump and Republicans consider ACA subsidies to help families access healthcare a waste of taxpayer money, it is just fine to use millions of it to slap his name on Palm Beach International Airport. Senator Carlos Smith calls it corrupt, unethical, and an unprecedented grift. We agree.
