Just keep the stories HONEST. The truth is often worse than a lie. Example: Amy Action's stepfather was NOT convicted of raping Ms Action. He failed to show up for his trial, and became a fugitive. He died in 2004 in Pennsylvania. In 1974 he was charged with raping his biological daughter as well.

I went shopping once, with my mother and aunt. This was roughly 25 years ago... one of those outlet malls. While walking, we saw a family stopped, to discipline a child. Smacks on the butt. My mother stopped the discipline with sharp words about hitting children not being acceptable.

I stopped, embarrassed that she had interfered with a child's discipline. I asked her to leave people alone in the future, that it was none of her business, how people disciplined their child. I was wrong. It is everyone's business.

I stopped for a sandwich at my local version of WaWa, here in KY. As I came out, I saw several young U of L students, all males, running. Some sports team. My 1st thought was 'pack of rapists.' Last week I probably wouldn't have noticed they exist.

I just got told, once again, that the law requires, in the case of a large number of criminals, that each criminal must wait until the ones charged before them have exhausted their appeals process, so the state doesn't have to release evidence tied to other perps.

I don't understand how anyone can support the draft. I admire anyone who avoids it, for the act of avoiding it. Everytime I see that tre45on was a 5 time draft dodger, 4 of those times being education deferments, I see something to admire.

So I have been looking for a copy of the 1977 "Adolescence of P-1" by Thomas Ryan. I really don't want to spend $70 on a paperback. So, search the net... And found the 1984 screen adaption of the film. "Hide and Seek." I'll let you know in a couple of hours if it is any good... #booksky

OK, not as good as my vague memory of the book. The ending is weak enough I think there must be a part 2 of the movie, but haven't found it.

I will not vote for anyone who has even an ambivalent position on Israel. If they have ever taken a dime from them, or voted to arm them in the last 20 years, that candidate will not get my vote. And that is true even if my single vote decides any election.

I also pledge to never vote for anyone who was a republican after June, 2016. George Will was rowing the last lifeboat off that sinking garbage scow of a party. Any with integrity left the GOP that month.
