A small (14-seat) Journey jet that departed Mesa, AZ this morning at 8:20 local time is currently en route to Shannon, Ireland, where it will likely refuel before onward deportation stops. We are monitoring for a potential removal stop in Poland.

UPDATE (1/2): Based on new info, just 2 nationals of Equatorial Guinea were removed when yesterday’s ICE Air flight (B763) stopped in Malabo. Following stops in Burundi & CAR, the flight returned to Senegal & flew within 30 min of Malabo.

UPDATE (2/2): Despite the typical overnight rest stops in Dakar, Senegal, the two ICE Air planes (B763 & GLF5) returned to the U.S. shortly after their return to Senegal.

UPDATE: The ICE Air flight (Velux16) has now landed in Bujumbura, Burundi at 11:24 pm local time (5:24 pm ET). This flight marks the 2nd time third country nationals have been removed there from the U.S., following a flight on Aug 27.

UPDATE: The ICE Air flight (Velux16) landed in Bangui, Central African Republic (CAR) at 3 am local time (10pm ET), marking the 4th forced third country transfer there.

(4/5) Additionally, a small (14-seat) ICE Air jet from Alexandria, LA carried TCN’s to Eswatini after a stop in Senegal. It is currently returning to Senegal, flying within an hour of Malabo.

(5/5) For context, ICE Air flights typically refuel and return to rest in Dakar, Senegal before onward deportations and return to U.S. soil. Dakar is a ~4-hr flight to Malabo, providing ample opportunity to effectuate the return of Ahmed.

(2/5) Today, 2 ICE Air flights conducted multiple third country removal stops in African countries. A flight from Alexandria, LA carried third country nationals (TCN’s) to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, where Ahmed is being held, then flew to Burundi to remove another group of TCN’s.

(3/5) After Burundi, the flight will likely stop in Bangui, CAR (<2 hrs from Malabo) to remove yet another group of TCN’s from the U.S., before likely returning to Senegal.

An ICE Air flight (Velux23) is about to take off from Alexandria, LA for Cap-Haitien, Haiti. Deportation flights to Haiti have been occurring once a week on Thursdays since Aug 20.

(2/2) U.S. removal flights to Haiti have ramped up to once/week, occurring every Thursday since Aug. 20, following the end of TPS for thousands of Haitians living in the U.S. Prior to this, deportation flights to Haiti occurred once/month.

A small (14-seat) Talon jet is currently en route to Puerto Rico. This flight is expected to depart San Juan for Monrovia, Liberia later this afternoon. We are monitoring for other deportation stops in the region.

(1/4) This ICE Air jet arrived in Monrovia, Liberia at 1:30 am local time (9:30 pm ET), removing third country nationals from the U.S. Deportation flights to Liberia have carried both Liberian nationals and third country nationals under the 2nd Trump admin.

UPDATE: This flight was confirmed to have removed Liberian nationals from the U.S. Our understanding is that there were no third country nationals onboard.

Yesterday 2 ICE Air flights (EAL8260 & EAL8280) from El Paso, TX, arrived in Barcelona, Venezuela, removing 368 Venezuelan nationals, including families and children. Deportation flights to Venezuela have been occurring 2x/week on Weds since Sept. 16.

An ICE Air flight (Velux23) is about to take off from Alexandria, LA for Cap-Haitien, Haiti. Deportation flights to Haiti have been occurring once a week on Thursdays since Aug 20.

(1/3) Alexandria, Louisiana remains the primary hub for both deportation and domestic shuffle flights under the 2nd Trump admin. Sept saw over 400 total ICE Air flights, with 316 shuffle flights arriving & 122 removal flights originating in Alexandria.

(2/3) ICE flights operate through Alexandria more than any of the other three major hubs: El Paso, TX; Harlingen, TX; and Phoenix, AZ.

This dashboard is very helpful in posing one of the biggest questions about ICE's ongoing surge in arrests during a time in which enforcement data is extremely limited; have releases gone way up, as removal flights have been flat for months, and ICE hasn't acquired any major new detention resources.

An ICE Air flight (GXA6121) that departed Alexandria, LA at 8:30 am local time today, is currently en route to Cap-Haitien, Haiti, expected to arrive at 12:40 ET. Deportation flights to Haiti have been taking place once a week since Aug. 20.
