As a millennial without children (on purpose) I can assure you we are just fine. We do not yearn for a nuclear family. We yearn for the comfort our parents' generation enjoyed. We yearn for the freedom we enjoyed briefly before we elected this freak into office. I don't wanna kids. I want a house.

My phone has the word 'caucasity' in it's vocabulary but somehow won't let me say 'fucking' without autocorrect changing to to 'ducking.' Despite the fact I have never once meant 'ducking.'

The truth is I like to draw rectangles and code colors. I like to write paragraphs and spend hours tweaking them until they flow exactly how I want. I like sucking at stuff. I like being able to grow a skill over time. I like to look back and see my progress, and revisit my old ideas.

Artists/creators/makers who feel theyre not enough of an artist to keep drawing/sewing/creating. This is a normal part of the process. Imposter syndrome is a bitch. Keep going.

I genuinely have a hard time seeing Dekay's brown snakes that someone obviously killed. They only get a few inches long. They live mostly underground. They eat mostly insects. They usually emerge only when it's raining. If you're thinking of killing a snake, ask yourself, "can I simply avoid it?"
