My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

There are two kinds of Star Wars fans: “I hated The Last Jedi but recently rewatched it for the first time since release and it’s much better than I thought!” And: “I hated The Rise of Skywalker but recently rewatched it for the first time since release and it’s much worse than I thought!”

Fun fact: this guy is the associate producer and went on direct several Muppets movies

Christopher Abbott, best known for Girls and East of Eden, called his MCU X-Men casting announcement as Professor X, "a bit of a dream and a nightmare," as some reacted with more questions than excitement.

It’s obvious this is where things were heading for this insane idiot that you guys just love to ironically use his nonsensical slang. Thanks for making this moron mainstream every one of you who ever said anything “maxxing” or “mogging”, you sheep.

Little-known movie trivia: When Luke Skywalker destroyed the Death Star in Star Wars, Mark Hamill wasn’t supposed to make the shot as it was considered too difficult and an expert was going to be brought in later. It was so unexpected that Harrison Ford’s reaction was genuine.

Reading a Star Trek book from 1994 and the guy who owns the company that builds all the phaser banks for every Starfleet ship is described as a “multibillionaire”. Isn’t that just precious?

Reminder that the best Star Trek movies were made by people who had no interest in Star Trek until they were hired to do a job. The same goes for Andor. There’s a lesson there somewhere

An M. Night Shyamalan movie with a Signs-like twist at the end, but the twist is a man suddenly discovers an important and life-saving reason for all the Allen Wrenches he has in the house.

If you post content with a video playing in the background with your face super-imposed over it just making faces and not really contributing anything, just know that I hate you.

This is gonna sound funny, but when Deep Space 9 came out, I remember being annoyed that there wasn’t a voiceover during the credits. “It doesn’t match!” So I would try to come up with my own. Now, I don’t give a shit I bet some people still do. Because they never grew out of that mindset.

Kevin Smith is doing a Star Wars comic. OK. Kevin Smith is doing a Marvel comic. OK They’re doing a Marvel and Star Wars comic crossover. OK. Kevin Smith is doing a Marvel and Star Wars comic crossover. What the fuck?!??

As if a million voices suddenly cried out, “Huh?” and then were completely baffled.

Battle lines were drawn immediately by the way. “I like it!” “It sucks!” “Cheesy and silly, like Star Wars!” “It’s cheesy and silly, not like Star Wars!”

Grok is gonna shit itself trying to figure out how something with mythical gods is historically accurate

Elon Musk has claimed that Grok will make an AI movie of The Odyssey “that is historically accurate and true to the art of Homer." https://bit.ly/4fshDUK

If I’m talking about The Odyssey and a friend says “No spoilers!” I am going to say “It’s been 3,000 years. Too soon?” That’s really all I have to look forward to in the coming weeks.
