You know those giant Home Depot skeletons? Those were based on me. But my lawyer signed a shit deal so I don’t make a dime on any of them. They said it would be good for exposure.

It’s wild that we have a society like this. Like we’re just not doing anything about it. We’re just kind of watching it collapse.

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

Look, enemy Fire Emblem character. When you attack my Flame Lord when he is wielding a levin sword and you die from the counterattack, that’s not on me. I did not make that happen. You have to accept the consequences of your own actions there.

people gotta stop saying "wife guy", the vast majority of married men like their wives or at least publicly behave as if they do, this is not notable in any way

Catching up on Wrestledream, it feels like they are doing a story with the Deathriders where they are grieving the death of Pac and having trouble dealing with that. Not sure I’ve seen something like that before.

if you ever happen to see someone post a joke you don't understand or discuss a subject you aren't familiar with, you are well within your right to complain, and perhaps even scold them if necessary. you are their customer and you have rights

They had to shave my cat’s sides to do the ultrasound so she’s walking around now looking like one of those Jurassic Park battle damage figures.

I got an email showing what my Mythic Achievement games are and man, what a mix of great games I couldn't stop playing, depressive episodes, and "I dunno might as well"

I would bet money this came from people in charge going “Make a football game that’s like GTA6 and will sell as much.” And the developers had to figure out what the fuck that is supposed to mean.

EA Sports has announced that it is working on a new open-world football game that the company calls "Project Gridiron," which seems to be separate from Madden and College Football. https://bit.ly/4z63a9U

My little cat is sick while we are out of the country. Everyone please give her your energy while we are gone since I won’t be back for a few more days.

So like one problem here is that SNF is basically useless to consumers on its own, so developers are going to increasingly need curators (like game journalists) to point their game out, but consumers also don’t pay attention to SNF coverage, so journalists can’t spare the time to cover any of it.

People are going to yell at me for telling them the truth, and I will one day get fired for it, but I believe in AI so much I will courageously take the hit. [People start yelling at me] Well I guess I’m just a fucking coward, huh. *deletes Twitter account*

I think it’s apparent that a lot of the hyped productivity gains people gain from AI are with the caveat of “if you don’t care what the end result looks like.”

Repost if $30k would change your life right now

Matt Darling@besttrousers.bsky.social

I don't think $30k is a life-changing amount of money. Median American born in 1980 will have $2m in income in their lifetime. It's a 1% increase in earnings.

Tommy looks like he would tell you unsolicited how women won’t date him because of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.
