Ah yes, public transport. There's a strike going on in Belgium, and there's a broken down train in the Netherlands. "This train will not run any further" It's not going like it's planned, let's just keep it at that. 😐

Spent the night finishing another Minecraft mod: a nifty little redstone clock. Building a mod is always an adventure since you need to figure out how game mechanics are implemented, and there's almost no documentation.

I opened up my old gaming laptop to replace the SSD, and turns out that the fans were *totally* clogged with dust. So I cleaned that out. I've been running it for an hour now and it's running fine. I guess I should have checked that first.

I guess the SSD heated up too much and gave up. It would explain why it would show up after a while again, having cooled down.

I'm going to keep the "stress test" going for a while and if it works fine, I'll update the SSD regardless (more capacity) and pass the computer on to my son.

What didn’t kill me didn’t make me stronger. It gave me crippling anxiety, a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms, some really nasty nightmares, the ability to drink enough caffeine to kill a horse, and made me into a cynic who cusses way more than necessary.

It's such a great experience that before you can start using your brand new Windows machine, you have to sit through a bunch of updates first.

Disabled all the AI features on my TV. I don't need a random chatbot (!) popping up reacting to things that were said on the TV.

Looking for a new laptop bag. Preferably one that can store 3(!) laptops (16" work laptop, 13" personal laptop and an 13" iPad). The one that I have now can, and is perfect but the zippers are giving up.

Mary Tyler Moore accidentally nailed a perfect trick shot in *The Dick Van Dyke Show* (1962)—on the FIRST take. It was supposed to be done by a pro, but she shocked everyone and pulled it off herself. Absolute legend. 🎱✨ #ClassicTV #FunFacts
