InfinityGene

The InfinityQuest reboot is nearly complete and ready to go! 🌈 Here's a revamped look of the logo, removing the tail from before (Since it felt too distracting and made the more rounded look less round).

Finally putting the new graphics tablet I got to some good use. Only took me around....6+ months to overcome the art block. And in other news, I hope to be uploading the next InfinityQuest videos and the reboot of DemoDive this week. Can't wait to share all that soon! #bomberman

SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ. They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now. Thread about what this means, and what we can do about it 🧵

Just a nice early Christmas present for myself. Got hooked with the 16Bit design but I was nearly tempted for the Purple one instead! Also celebrating my new job offer a few days ago too, which will be fantastic to start (It's kinda like a promotion in a way honestly with the higher pay) #retroid

I'll give some further details why soon, but just to let you all know that I'm thinking about not streaming anymore, or if I do continue, it won't be as much. Haven't been feeling it for a couple months now, and it might be time to move onto other adventures. But I'll talk about that soon too.

Oh we are so back! 🐊

Just a brief update on things folks. My cough has started to go finally, but I've got some personal matters to sort out right now. I am also gonna talk in a video soon about my thoughts currently with streaming, and whether I feel that I want to reduce how often I stream, or completely cut it out.

I feel like I apologize too much for the lack of streams. Sorry about that folks That cough I had before has been getting a bit worse, and it's quite deep the coughing too. So I ain't in any shape to be streaming right now sorry! 💙 At least the temperature is going down a bit more

InfinityQuest #92 heads to Dinosaur Land in Super Mario World! Bowser couldn't leave well enough alone, so now it's up to Mario, Luigi, and a very enthusiastic green dinosaur to clean up the mess. Again. www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #snes #retroachievements #retrogaming #supermario

We are so back, folks! Today will just be a nice catch-up stream finishing off some cheevos that I'm currently working on offline, and discussing what we'll be getting up to in the weeks and months to come! Thanks for waiting so patiently! 💙 www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_

Mid-year update time! 💙

And that's my 18 month job contract done as of today, which I am damn glad about honestly. I wish I could say the same about the sudden coughing I have as well which is still why there's no streams. I'll rest for now though. Mid-year update is also on the way soon so look out for that! Thank you! 💙

Yep that's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation... Can't put the new fridge-freezer into the kitchen yet, because I pulled up the old floor tiles to replace them with the new ones I had. So that's why I wasn't able to stream yesterday and today as they need to set.

Good morning! It has certainly got alot cooler this week so we'll be back to streaming again but it'll be from tomorrow as I'm just preparing to defrost the freezer to recycle before my new fridge-freezer arrives! But if there's time, maybe a short one tonight...👀

It do be quite toasty over in the UK (And pretty much the whole of the EU), so I hope you're all staying safe with this weather! No streams for this week because of this, so hopefully we can try sometime after the weekend again! Also considering getting a portable AC for next time this happens.

It's a very hot week in the UK which means one thing, we're gonna continue with Part 2 of Sonic Adventure tonight! (Trust me on the logic here, I'll explain it uhhh....one day) www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #retroachievements #retrogaming #dreamcast #sonic

Thanks for coming to the stream today! I'm done with the Collect-a-thon event as the Sonic Adventure stuff put me up to 200 points finally! We'll continue Sonic Adventure tomorrow as we still have 4 other characters to do!

Too cool to walk, too fast to care! It's of course Sonic Adventure time for InfinityQuest #91 and the final game needed for the RA Collect-a-thon event! 🦔🌀 www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #retroachievements #retrogaming #dreamcast #sonic

Big apologies for no stream yesterday! Took part last minute in a Spyro 3 race with the #retroachievements community that I just couldn't resist myself from! Also on another note, finally finished the Wii Launch event on the site too and achieved the Grandmaster badge! Here's my list of games done!

Bit of a stressful work day today so for tonight, I'm gonna relax and then just stream tomorrow instead. I'll just focus on grinding the final few points for the RetroAchievements Collect-a-thon and Wii events tonight which should all be done by this weekend! 💙

Thanks for stopping by the stream today! Apart from the sudden difficulty spike on the last part of the game, it's was genuinely tons of fun to play Sucker Punch's birthchild. Finished up the collecting off-stream and that's the whole set done. See you Thursday for Sonic Adventure!

Part 2 of Rocket: Robot on Wheels! We've experienced clowns, redecorated the roman architecture, and blew up some walls in the mines. Somehow, the theme park is still open. Time for Rocket to roll into even more physics-powered chaos! www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #retrogaming #retroachievements #N64

InfinityQuest #90 rolls into Rocket: Robot on Wheels! Turns out giving a tiny robot one wheel, a grappling hook, running around an amusement park was either a brilliant idea... or a catastrophic health and safety violation 🤖🎟️ www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #retrogaming #retroachievements #N64

Continuing our playthrough of Sly 1! The heists are easy. The guards are predictable. But then we're reminded that Murray's levels are the real villains of the game 🦛 www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #retrogaming #retroachievements #slycooper

The city sleeps. The spotlights sweep the rooftops. Somewhere in the shadows, a raccoon with a hooked cane is planning his next score. InfinityQuest #89 dives into Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus 🦝🪝 www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #retrogaming #retroachievements #slycooper

Evening! We'll be live tomorrow after work as I felt a bit bleach with it today and it sort of ruined my mood (Thankfully my contract ends soon). Gonna work on sorting and reorganising my layout as mentioned before last stream. I'll also get to work on uploading VODs from MAYTARI too to YouTube! 💙

Well, we broke the game a little yesterday and we're gonna break it a bit more as we stuff our face with even more Scooby Snacks in the continuation of Scooby-Doo: Night of 100 Frights! And it's more spooky because we're late! 👻 www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #retroachievements #retrogaming #scoobydoo

Ruh-roh! InfinityQuest #88 is off to spooky old mansions, creepy ghosts, and suspiciously fake monsters in Scooby-Doo: Night of 100 Frights! No amount of Scooby Snacks can prepare me for this... www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #retroachievements #retrogaming #scoobydoo

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈 Hope you're all well today! Just a small update, we'll be streaming tomorrow instead as I'm gonna make some adjustments to the layout designs since I'm unhappy with some things on the new one that I loved on the old one. InfinityQuest returns tomorrow!

We are gonna go for an extra session of MAYTARI right at the very end, as we explore the underrated library of the Atari Lynx for the final day! www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #atari #maytari #retrogaming #retroachievements

No stream tonight sadly, as my tower block lost power which includes the junction box for all the broadband networks coming into the building, which also powers the lifts (But not the individual properties themselves). Next stream will be on Sunday now. See you then and enjoy the weekend! 💙

Well I just snagged myself a ticket for the Sonic Live in Concert event in good old Manc. But this was the first time I'd booked tickets like this and holy shit, that was manic 🤣

It's been a wild and wonderful month filled with Atari goodness. But we are coming to the end of MAYTARI this month with a full on look of the Atari 50 collection for a deep dive into the Atari lore! Enjoy 💙 www.twitch.tv/infinitygene_ #maytari #retrogaming #atari

Evening folks! So I'll be streaming again tomorrow after work, and tomorrow will be the last day I'll be doing for MAYTARI. It has been fun for sure this month showcasing many games off, but also exhausting too as it was ALOT of games! We'll finish with Atari 50 tomorrow. See you then 💙

Good early morning! Been working on the corner where I keep all of my older collections and I'm pretty pleased with how it all turned out. Now I need to buy more storage for future additions to the collection. Probably opt for something low and wide

Afternoon! I'm sorry that there hasn't been many streams this week. Had just low energy and motivation for a couple days, so I'm just taking a small but well earned break again. I do wanna say it's been tons of fun showing off so much Atari content this month and we have a bit more to go still! 💙
