Plant a wildlife hedge instead of building a fence! It could help hedgehogs, bumblebees, blue tits, small mammals, insects, robins, frogs, bats, toads, dunnocks, butterflies, moths, blackbirds, solitary bees, wrens, hoverflies...

Seen on our walk today: 🪱 a legless lizard basking in the sun, so I took the high road ;) 🪶 talon marks on the path, from a bird taking a small mammal? 🐻 several bear droppings, sorry no photo 😅

A hedgehog is roaming through our garden, and I hope it's one of these little ones we looked after a couple of years ago :) 🦔

I haven't knitted many sweaters because they seem to take a long time to finish 😅 But, I love the look of the Free Flow Sweater so I took to the plunge and am giving it a go. And the cotton/linen yarn is really nice to knit with :) #ShowMeYourKnits 🧶

My sewing teacher is moving their atelier and I helped a bit with sorting & packing up. Oof.. the plethora of fabric, supplies, notions, magazines, think everything sewing, was overwhelming. We need more days 😅

I hadn't been to the international community gatherings in ages, it was great to catch up with familiar faces and meet some new ones last evening 🌞

I did a workshop last night in Millbury called A Map for a Cat which invites kids to make maps from the perspective of different animals. Wanna see a capybara map?
