I just love it when you can tell someone liked a post of yours because they're just keyword searching for things and liking posts so they get you to pay attention to them it's so fun

"I Can't Fix You" is almost entirely in my range except for the "fix you" part of "I can't fix you" in the chorus so when I sing along I have to jump past my break into falsetto for two fucking notes lmao

Friends are good and I think I spent my teen years too fucked up and self-isolating to fully appreciate how much they can matter even if you don't know them all that well

Arguing on Reddit is so much less stressful than arguing on bsky for some reason. "ohhh you're calling me a creep" whatever weirdo it doesn't matter now if someone who I can see is followed by someone I *respect* tells me off? NOOOO I'M A TERRIBLE PERSON WHYYYYY

anonymity makes these random fights much more fun and less personal and I appreciate that I enjoy reading reddit replies more than bsky replies because people are less, like, "performative" in them? Like they're performing but not trying to project a certain image of themselves like on here

I'm so good at finding images when I need them that when I can't find one I genuinely get a bit stressed about it. Where is that specific strip of the comic. It has to be in this range but when I'm scanning through for it I'm not seeing it. aghhhhh.

Okay people are suddenly saying stuff about like "don't set yourself up in a way people look up to you" and "people need to let IPs go" can someone tell me what happened this time

The only thing I know about the audio engine I keep gradually designing is it's going to be written in C because fuck you it's portable and talks to everything Also because all the best libraries are pure C. SDL. PipeWire. Countless others

trying to make things kinda generic so I can combine different systems. here the "pully" event can listen to what "percent" something is and move other objects based on that. and then I have an "attachment" event to tie objects so they move together.

I'm gonna be honest the fact that transfems frequently use injections while transmascs frequently cover themselves in gel has such obvious phallic/yonic imagery that it feels like something from fucking Evangelion

I'M A WIZARD, MOM! A SEER! I LITERALLY HAVE SO MUCH POWER THAT I MESSED UP THE TEST AS A BABY! [...] I'M SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE YOU WERE AFRAID FOR ME?! YOU WEREN'T AFRAID! YOU WERE ASHAMED! SO ASHAMED OF YOUR WEAKLING SON THAT YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW YOUR WIZARD DAUGHTER!

What I want to do with games is tell stories that I've created and give people worlds to enjoy. But what I find myself inclined towards building are tools. And not even necessarily ones I need or would use, just like, things that I think should exist. Like a Godot 3D Level Builder or FOSS audio

Really wish my pharmacy gave me enough E in a vial to have a stockpile but I have about 1 shot's worth of margin of error and as such have to stick with the 28 days they recommend

Whenever I remember my dreams they always seem to go for the most wild epic concepts Anyways reality is collapsing in on itself into smaller and smaller dimensions and there's a hole that's swallowing it. Toss things in to try and make sure they make it to the next iteration. You might not be you

"What was your biggest impact on the internet?" I made allan from hot shots golf fore

“What was your biggest impact on the internet?” This Neopets meme I made based off a gag in a plot comic It popped off, the community started genuinely shipping them, and the actual Neopets team noticed, resulting in a deep, newfound friendship between them being canonized in official material.

Earlier I had to reconstruct all of Graves' materials in Blender, separate out the parts of the model to apply them to, and make sure everything is mapped correctly And I didn't know how to do any of that in Blender beforehand. And oh my god it was so much easier than anything I've done in Maya

Like I was doing things in a janky and inefficient way and struggling with things that should be obvious and having to manually group all the submeshes into proper categories and it WAS STILL EASIER THAN TRYING TO DO ANYTHING IN MAYA HOW THE FUCK IS THAT PROGRAM STILL STANDARD

I'm going to try to see what I can force myself to eat because I need food and the fact I haven't eaten much today is NOT helping my anxiety and then I'll probably hop on Deadlock for a while

My district hasn't been called yet. It's leaning conservative, though. If they win I'm going to make sure to have a talk with them about some shit I'm glad that trans rights don't seem like they're under *too* much threat from this government but I'm not hopeful

I'm legitimately going to have a panic attack if I think about this too fucking long oh my god I can't even fucking deal with this god dammit why'd they have to call an election now, I hope we don't have to deal with the conservatives for too long

Oh boy I can't wait to have to pay hundreds of dollars a month for the medication I've been getting for free. Fucking hell. I can't deal with this. I can't.

I've been browsing through Deadlock files (trying to extract a model and was running into issues) and I like that through some artifacts left in you can see that some were made with Maya and others were made with Blender (namely Doorman)

GDQ segment idea: Have a casual player of the game see how far they can get in the time the world record takes. Just to emphasize the ridiculousness of it

Voice training pro tip: literally just never shut the fuck up. I am constantly talking to myself when I'm alone and to some degree quietly when I'm in public. If you notice your placement is wrong, work it a bit and then keep talking. If you don't shut up you'll notice change because you're doing it

I need to be less of a bitch about voice training than I am By which I mean to other people. I have a background in singing and acting so I'm so weirdly fucking picky about voices and I'm internally so condescending and judgy about people not voice training. I don't like it

Really feeling the theatre critic in my DNA with that. Gotta make notes and give feedback instead of just letting people do what makes sense for them. Instead I'm all "work on your resonance more" "you're too nasally" "you're too breathy" "that placement doesn't work well for you" I hate it :(
