if I was writing for AEW I would have called Jay White's new group The Merger and done a ton of Skydance bits. The Bang Bang Gang could have done a "Cheers is filmed in front of a live studio audience" sketch. Have the Dogs try to be Property Brothers. I'd get fired but I'd have a good time.

watching that CMLL match from last friday, and I can't imagine either WWE or AEW ever giving the women on their roster an hour-long main event match with a full band playing them out and a sports-like framing. It was so celebratory and nice to see. Everyone did great. They got to take a bow!

I'd really love to put together a video about Jon Moxley's year as a character. It'll probably be in December if I have time, but I have a good angle on it and I think I could tie it together well.

Is Orange Cassidy the victim of the most heel turns in AEW?

I do like it when a heel turn is simply a return to form

"I encourage everybody to be as extreme, loud, crazy, feminine, masculine, insane, and colorful as possible, because life’s short, and you gotta have as much fun as possible." Thekla has become one of AEW’s most beloved figures. Our interview here: www.playboy.com/read/culture...

Pac's chair permanently in the Death Riders' entrance tunnel. 🥲 #AEWCollision

I'm so glad they never broke up the Death Riders. Pac's tribute show was aided so much by their spirit. Good guys or bad guys (and for sure for the time being, good guys again), that team is so human.

I wonder if Pac's folding chair and towel will be a part of the Death Riders entrance going forward. I think it would be nice.

AEW's tribute shows are moving, beautiful and frequently some of the best pieces of television they do and I hope they never do another one again.

@stephenhilger.bsky.social just heard you talking about getting into wrestling using anime and fighting games as a bridge. You're right that there really isn't a better way in than Kenny Omega youtu.be/vyR0XyuGiC4?...
