I created Lumiose, combining what I love and what I miss from all React-like frameworks. Performance-focused itsjavi.com/lumiose/ Async components, mixing JSX with scoped <style>s, SSR, SSG generation, M/SPAs, very performant in highly-interactive apps, small bundle size, rust tooling, agent-ready

itsjavi.comLumioseLumiose: one web framework for static sites, server-side rendering, islands and SPAs. TSX with scoped CSS, signals, and 0 kB of JS until a page needs it.

this is the worst piece of UI ever introduced in an OS. Intrusive and constantly getting in the way of all what you do. How did it even pass QA? UX anti-pattern done on purpose? Thank you Apple.

STSX plugin released. Styled JSX for everyone itsjavi.com/lumiose/stsx/

itsjavi.comSTSX: Styled TSX with scoped CSS for React and SolidSTSX (Styled TSX): .stsx files are TSX with plain-CSS <style> blocks, scoped by placement and compiled at build time. A Vite plugin for React, React Router and Solid, and native in Lumiose.

In theory Lumiose's STSX Rust compiler should also be able to work with any JSX compatible framework (React, Preact, Solid, Remix3...), making it possible to mix global and auto-scoped raw styles with JSX in any framework. I am working on @lumiose/stsx to make that possible

The responsibles of yesterday's security breakdown are #Anthropic and #OpenAI for not doing the right thing before any new model goes public: find security issues in critical infrastructure, making sure it is patched.

Iโ€™m pleased to see soft navigations count towards LCP. This was an argument I made when I worked on Google Chrome because single page apps can provide much faster UX. Letโ€™s say goodbye to the outdated nonsense metaphors that JS is smog or a traffic jam. It never made sense โ€” now we have the data.

Why agents love it? because it is very similar to React/Solid, has a compiler with robust and useful error handling, comes with agent docs, and supports CSS <style> as first class citizen. No CSS-in-JS or tagged templates needed.

For the post-IDE era, I bring you QuickEdit - the evolution of TextEdit itsjavi.com/quickedit/ For those who just need a simple code editor with the defaults and QuickLook support, without the bloat. Built-in Markdown viewer and CSV spreadsheet-like editor. All modern languages are in.

itsjavi.comQuickEdit: quick, safe edits for code and text files on the MacA modern TextEdit, a lighter Sublime Text: a native Mac editor with tree-sitter highlighting that saves files byte for byte, except what you changed. Free and open source.

Years I started building Dotmatrix, a Game Boy chiptune music studio straight out of our childhood dreams. Today itโ€™s alive again ๐Ÿ’š I am curious to see what you can create! The music syntax comes with a guide for composing pieces and SFX. itsjavi.com/lumen/exampl... #GameBoy #GameDev #WebDev

Rewriting my old projects in STSX ๐Ÿ‘€ In Styled TSX, styles become first-class citizens, scoped by default. Part of my internal project called Lumen that is showing good results. I am combining what I love from other frameworks with a special focus in performance. #WebDev #ReactJS #SolidJS #VueJS

I've run some benchmarks (the full krausest JS framework suite) and #Remix3 (final) sits roughly at Reactโ€™s level, since is a virtual-DOM framework after all. Itโ€™s much slower on select row and partial update, but has none of Reactโ€™s swap-rows problem.

I built NoteMD, a native Mac app for Markdown notes ๐Ÿ“ โ€ข Plain files, multiple vaults โ€ข Every edit versioned with git, automatically โ€ข Prompt templates: fill a form, copy the prompt โ€ข Voice notes, transcribed on-device โ€ข Image & video attachments โ€ข Text editor Free & #OpenSource: itsjavi.com/notemd

We are at the verge of a very scary but interesting transition: for the first time, one person's imagination may be able to operate at approximately the scale of an entire organization.

Sessions with image models have always this problem called reference contamination. They are particularly bad at understanding the human concept of: "take only this one property from image B and absolutely nothing else". This is more a bad product/UX design than a problem of the model itself

The code you wrote last year doesn't matter anymore. Code got cheap. Learning a new framework doesn't matter anymore. Agents can learn about it in 1 min. Auditing your products with AI to find bugs or adding features, and making an efficient idea-to-release cycle is what matters now.

Sam talking about #GPT7 in 2021 That's cute but that knowledge he mentions belongs to everyone, not to private corps' internal agenda. We are not ready for what's coming in 2027. I didn't want to believe what many analysts said last 2 years... but it's becoming real.

Worktrees dont work well for me on big projects. I prefer having many agents working on the same milestone together in the same branch, in coordination and aware of each other's work

The Microsoft sentence that broke all our tooling: โ€œWhile TypeScript 7.0 is here, it does not ship with an API.โ€ Svelte, Astro, Vue Volar, Angular compiler, MDX, and basically any AST-based generators/codegen Let's hope 7.1 brings all they need #TypeScript #TypeScript7

My current workflow: - Plan your idea with Claude Opus 5.5 extra or max - Review the backlog md tasks and docs it creates - Configure a routine that will be your coding agent taking tasks every 1h if there are no pending changes. Ask it to take screenshots of important UI changes. - Enjoy life โ˜•๏ธ

for your routine use Auto mode + Claude Opus 5.5 reasoning will be automatic I think, but the important part is that you create a good plan with high/extra/max reasoning, without had-holding it too much: let it take decisions on best practices and design choices. iterate later after reviewing the ๐Ÿ“ธ

Higgsfield plugin for Blender is definitely better at modeling than GPT alone but it is incredibly expensive. This Gequa was created from a refernce 2D image (official artwork). First one: Higgsfield prompt, second: created procedurally with primitives with GTP6 #PokemonWindsWaves #Blender #Pokemon

Astra at character design... using spheres everywhere ๐Ÿ˜‚

My first game with #GPT6 Astra ๐Ÿ˜† It is kind of good at modeling worlds but so bad at character modeling #godot #blender #gptastra

Specialized AI chips are the future. Don't invest on overpriced memory. Things will have to get optimized at some point.

timeless.build I am cooking modern Web Components for humans, robots and aliens as well ๐Ÿ‘ฝ HTML-first, CSS-first, A11Y-first Progressively-enhanced and SSR-friendly 0% runtimes, 0% dependencies.
