Once at cancer mtg where a drug was called “tolerable” from the stage w/high low-grade SE % & at least 1 grade 5, which a more experienced patient told me meant death. Also fwiw, pls partner with patients themselves, who are not mentioned as sources of knowledge here #cansky #language #patients

This is just horrible. The FY25 CR obliterates the already small funding allocations for the development of new treatments for patients with pancreatic cancer, lung cancer and glioblastoma.... for what purpose? These are three of the deadliest types of cancer.

#Cervicalcancer dx are 📈 for those in their 30s & early 40s. Sadly a third of women in their 20s are overdue for #cancerscreening. Those in rural areas are screened less & die more. HPV vaccine (which PREVENTS cancer) uptake remains suboptimal. #gyncsm #ayacsm @lizszabo.bsky.social @nbcnews.com
