The folks saying mayford came out of nowhere are the same folks who said cherrisnake came out of nowhere. The hints have been there for a long time. The crew leaves breadcrumbs for you to follow if you are so inclined. 🤷‍♀️

AAAAAAAH THOSE EPISODES HURT ME SO GOOD!! IN PAIN OH GOD A^&@■■■ aAaah!! And the LOBSTER?!?!?! WITH HIS CUTE LITTLE VACUUM!!! COME HERE SWEETHEART OH I LOVE YLU! OHH AND FRIEND DREW ME THIS++ Christmas FOR ME BEHOLD!!! FRAAAAANK!!!! BABY!!! GAYS LOOK GYUSSSSS YES IT'S LOOK AT H8M

I finally get to watch the two new Helluva episodes!! Aah, it feels so good to have avoided spoilers. I'm super excited to share my thoughts later today. Right now, doing some overtime and on break. Sidenote, but I have a new favorite series!! Villains series by V.E. Schwab, aah!! It has EVERYTHING

It has mad scientists, friends to enemies, subversion of tropes while still lovingly embracing tropes such as.... FOUND FAMILY, MY BELOVED!!!! The action, the clever minds of Eli and Victor clashing against eachother, and ohhhh... I love Mitch, the escaped con, Sydney, the sweet innocent girl...

I just purchased the third book of the series, so I'll be starting the audiobook in a bit. I really can't recommend this series enough. It takes a LOT to make me cry, and there were 3 distinct moments in the first book where I cried so hard. And my god, the stakes of the second book... UGH!!!!

LOOPTY GOOPTY AND LYLE LIPTON, MY BELOVEDS!!! They're SO underrated, and I'm pissed at the lack of fanart for them. There's a few, but not many, and exactly ZERO of them interacting with Pentious (which is a crime against me specifically)

New HelluvaBoss S3 sneak peek of the upcoming episodes of this week 🥳 #HelluvaBoss

Sold something on Mercari earlier and keep getting the "ka-ching!" notification, and it's like... I know lol I know I sold something. Not... multiple somethings, just one something. God, I KNOW... I might actually have to turn off notifications at this point. I get the same bsky notifications, too

Has anyone else had issues with their Samsung galaxy phone constantly sending the same notification multiple times? They're spread out, sometimes around 6 or 7. I've tried turning on and off notifications, no dice, but I'd really rather not keep them off if I can help it. I sell on Mercari ):

Who’s a cactus lover? 🙋🏻‍♂️ 🌵 #cottagecore #spooky #fallvibes #whimsy

Also, I rewatched Young Frankenstein—which, I haven't watched in yeeeeears. God, Igor is still the best character. That was funny and so much fun. Ugh! I just LOVE a mad scientist SHOUTING to the heavens only for bullshit to happen. Mwah mwah, it's SO good

Finally watched the new Helluva episodes!! I really REALLY love them!! And oh my GOD, Willow is so cute!! I've already been spoiled on her design, but most of everything, I've been spoiler-free on. She's a cutie-patootie. I'm soooo happy with the direction these episodes are going so far

Just finished "State of Wonder" by Ann Patchett. Her prose is evocative at times, but the overall themes of the novel never felt like they truly... stuck? I think that's a good way to put it. I feel bad, but I was immensely disappointed, and the ending felt very slapped on.

With the comparisons to Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness", and how there were meant to be some parallels, I really wanted to love this. This was written by a woman author who's gotten so much praise for her writing.

I also wanted to say, btw, that the reason I didn't dnf this was due to that comparison to "Heart of Darkness." But also, I've seen it mentioned a couple times as having a mad scientist, which feels extremely misleading considering what people seeking out that trope are actually hoping to read.

While avoiding spoilers, it just felt like the main character lacked conviction more than half the time, even past the point you'd assume she'd gain some. This became more frustrating as the plot led her to sway her opinions and resolve multiple times, and by the time the ending came... I was numb.

People talk a lot about foot fetishists, but nobody talks about how artists are all sickos for hands. Anyone who draws the human form regularly goes absolutely wolf-howl sicko mode over a well drawn hand. It's like an entire body on it's own, artists are out here hubba-hubba-ing and awooga-ing

Ooh, but I hear Wakenhyrst is supposed to be good, and an Edwardian gothic horror sounds delicious right now... ugh! Okay, so randomizer it is lol I'll make my choice before work. I'm really flip-flopping between what genre I want to read right now

Really on the fence about my next read. Like... do I feel... more mad scientists? (I keep trying to find the best of the best, and some of more modern reads haven't fully scratched that itch) Or do I feel... ocean horror...?? Choices choices

You cannot ethically use generative AI or LLMs! Using them does not support human creators or protects them because it literally SCRAPES THEIR WORK. This is such a nothingburger statement.

This post is unavailable.

If you can, please consider getting one of their plushies or commissioning one. There's a lot of love and talent that goes into them

I’m going to have to start saving up for knee surgery for Mochi 😭 She has a luxating patella and she was fine before but now just in the past few weeks she’s been limping a lot. So I need to start saving now before it’s really pressing. Here she is to ask for commissions and sales.
