weird aside but watching/listening to practiced music producers put together a song feels like magic to me, it's crazy how things can fall into place so easily I like to think I have a good ear for music and have been told I have perfect pitch but my attempts at arrangement/synthesis aren't great

This is also to say I'd like to have the skills to eventually make a cover album with one of my IRL friends and also so I can better execute the various ideas I have related to Friday Night Funkin' modding even if it's not a very popular or venerable reason to get good at music production haha

I miss following a lot of musicians, there were a lot more on the other site when I was still on there but maybe I just haven't found enough people here Will absolutely take suggestions to follow more producers here. I'm personally an FL user and would wanna learn by osmosis #music #flstudio

Gamedev's still my main focus, but much like I have a big interest in artwork and know I could do better with some more time, patience, and direction, I know the same thing is the case with music production. This is also to say I aspire to do some more music stuff someday in the future

This is also somewhat of an open invitation for music producers/etc along those lines to say hi My main interests for music production are video game music and a pretty wide variety of EDM/electro-adjacent music so I'd be curious how to make those sounds and how to make them sound good

I've had brief periods of inspiration for music but while I've got a vision it sort of fizzles away in execution; I'm good with stuff like Famitracker since I'm limited to less sounds but even then I'm sure I could do a lot better in terms of arrangement and minor details in the song
