Hi, I'm sorry if you recently followed me for Trombone Champ reasons and are wondering why this person seems to have lost their mind and is mainly posting dumbass Dragon Ball stuff and shitty doodles.

Also last night at a bar a couple guys saw my DBZ hat and one of them ALSO HAD A VEGETA TATTOO LIKE ME. gave them some stickers too lol i love bumping into dbz fans in the wild

I worked in book publishing for 13 years. Wages were shit but especially shit for NYC. Was only able to make rent by moving in with my husband (then boyfriend) early. Publishing got away with exploiting workers since NYU always had a parade of new grads coming out of their book pub program

For @wired.com, I spoke with workers about the quiet push to experiment with AI tools from book publishing executives at the Big Five. www.wired.com/story/book-p...

Dan & I made games in our free time then and it’s only because of Trombone Champ’s success I was able to quit that book pub job. Always incredibly thankful for that. But my other coworkers are still struggling, lost their jobs or completely changed fields. And now publishing is pulling this AI shit…

I was a graphic designer so Trombone Champ truly saved me since I can’t imagine getting another graphic design gig these days because of freaking AI 🖕🖕🖕 FU book publishing for embracing it

not at NYCC but I did go to the Brooklyn Museum's Art of Manga exhibit yesterday!!! The Araki pieces were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I freaking love this one of very early Jojo

!!! my husband made this UFO 50 mashup album (for ALL 50 GAMES!) and I might be biased but it freaking SLAPS

Here's something fun as hell for the weekend: the co-creator of Trombone Champ (of @holywowstudios.bsky.social) made a 2-hour long UFO 50 hip-hop mashup album featuring a track for all 50 games. And it fucking rules. www.polygon.com/ufo-50-mashu...

went to a shoe store and one of the clerks saw my DBZ hat and was SO EXCITED to talk to someone about Broly. for some reason he kept talking about him in the present tense, that Broly was training "right now". I told him good luck, Vegeta would find a way to surpass whatever he's doing >:)

i've been keeping a list of things people tell me after seeing my DBZ hat and stopping me, i freaking love it. I've been toying around with the idea of turning them into a comic series but the thought of drawing myself is horrifying to me lol

anyway i hate clothes/shoe shopping, always feel way out of place and was there out of pure necessity lol. so chatting about DBZ is so welcome, hope you're having a good day Broly dude

(a not-sad 9/11 story) my dad’s friend & co-worker worked in the World Trade Center. he used to write off Star Trek con tickets at work and he took me to THREE cons. i got to meet NIMOY and a bunch of others! as a teenager obsessed with trek at the time i fucking loved it, guy was my hero

we thought he died on 9/11, he worked in the first tower that was hit and wasn’t answering his phone. until months later we learned he was fine!!! was coincidentally flying off on a business trip ON 9/11 🙃
