Oh. This is why it's not part of Play Pokemon anymore. (And likely why they completly rehaul World finals next year for Pokemon Go to turn it into the controversial 3 on 3 gimmick. The game doesn't even have double or triple battles in-game BTW.)

But speaking of Unite. Looks like no sign of an offline version. Yet another reminder of the biggest downside of mobile games. How disposable they tend to be. This is a freaking Pokemon Moba game and yet there will be no way for future generations to experience it first hand.

Heck, techincally this was a Switch game too and yet it will still be dead before the next console generation. If only there was some sort of regulation that required companies to make offline varients of their game after they decide to no longer support them.

THAT SAID I really do feel more people need to re-evaluate DK64. I avoided it for years because of the reputation it built up. Oh no it's the game that's so packed with collectibles that it "killed" a whole genre, it needs a mod to be good no No it's just a good game.

The work I've been doing with game dev is important. But I have been wishing I had put aside more time for videos and art. I especially hate the fact that I'm going to go through all of October without doing anything for Overseer October. I haven't even made a Game N Chill video yet this month.

Hopefully no one minds the lack of uploads. I'm sure I'll feel better once people get to see the demo I've been working on, but can't do much until Steam approves it. I just hope it doesn't take so long that it makes the sacrifice with my week off feel in vain.

I'm crossing my fingers ya'll have something fresh to play to fill up this category with soon. Demo is basically done at this point. I just have to wait for Steam to approve it. Then we can talk about when it's coming out.

Now if only what ever automated system was responsible for this was also able to actually include any of the game's promotional art in that thumbnail instead of just a blank screen with the default controller icon. Then we'd be rockin'.
