Latinos in this country just want peace, to belong and the chance to give their children opportunities they never had. No one wants to be harassed, deported, or devalued. It seems neither party is particularly good at delivering that. The one that figures it out will benefit the most from us.

“Be careful what your advisers are telling you about immigration policy. The same Hispanics who helped you get to the White House in 2024 feel betrayed today.”
"U.S. schools simply aren’t producing enough students with advanced engineering and math skills. A report last year from the University of California, found that one in 12 freshmen had math skills below middle-school level." 👀
AI might have just discovered the fountain of youth by mistake. 👀

Many Americans feel China does everything better than us, yet in 2026: • 15% youth unemployment • Starting pay is super low • Renting or buying is way too expensive • Nobody is spending money They’re struggling too. This takeover of the USA and the world doesn't seem so imminent anymore.
The biggest lie in Italy. Italy only produces about 10% of the world's olive oil, so they quietly buy half their supply in bulk from Spain!😆🇪🇸

Today, the biggest television event on the planet will speak Spanish. The "Hispanic World Cup," Spain vs. Argentina, is the first final between two Spanish-speaking countries since URU-ARG in 1930. At stake... how really embedded is Spanish in the American mainstream? Is this the tipping point?

In July: Mexico vs. England drew 23M viewers, more than FOX's 21M in English, becoming the most-watched soccer match in U.S. Spanish-language media history. More revealing: Many English speakers chose Telemundo. They may not understand every word, but they love the excitement of the coverage.
But here’s the contradiction: - Audiences treat Spanish as mainstream. - Advertisers treat Hispanic media as supplemental. Telemundo captured 53% of US viewing during the first weekend. 👀

In March: Venezuela defeats Team USA in the most-watched WBC final ever (10.8M viewers). 🇻🇪 Aaron Judge called the crowd better than the World Series.👀
Great article on how much Chinese tech is embedded all around the World Cup, all while Washington is doing everything they can to stop Chinese tech from influencing us. 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😆

How many English-only speakers watched at least one game of the World Cup in Spanish on Telemundo (Peacock)? And what was your experience like?
WHAT??! How come no one told me this happened! 👀 It's currently on Hochul's desk. It becomes law 60 days after she signs it which is soon. This is huge and will change media immediately. It makes sense too since NYC is the media mecca of the world. Once again, NY leads the way. Love you NY! ❤️🗽
Would you pay $1,000 a year to give your dog one or two more healthy years? 🐶 A new longevity pill for dogs is moving toward FDA approval, and it seems to raise an existential question... When pets live longer, do we love them differently, or just fear losing them more?
When the world is divided and at war, nostalgia can become panacea. Boybands like NKOTB with teen lyrics and poppy love songs, can transport you out of your toxic moment fast. But they are now even better than they were teens, making the nostalgia, and these shows, the perfect antidote.
See, if I were @nbcpeacock.bsky.social I would push this promo ad when you open Peacock. It's rare to see #Latinos in the NBA, but 2 on a team, who are saving their season? This is special!
Podcasts are now a club for the rich.💰 While Latinos drive most of audio's growth (43% listen monthly/Edison Research), 77% of podcast hosts are white.👱🏻♂️ Podcasts no longer reward culture, they reward capital, and capital is not green, its white. www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/dig...
"It’s almost like the victims have to defend themselves and explain why we’re being victimized." - Ursula Burns on DEI in 2026.
I love jazz - and this album is the escape you need right now.
“The finding validates a novel legal theory that social media sites or apps can cause personal injury.”
We are being sold a vision of AI as a borderless equalizer. But the hard numbers show that Silicon Valley has hardcoded English as the "default language" for AI. For 600M Spanish-speakers, your language is a disadvantage, one penalized by double-taxing your tokens for a translation.
We're looking at the collapse of all free, high-quality journalism on the web. And that’s a problem for all of us. If the best info is paywalled: - AI serves only 2nd/3rd best sources. - Future generations lose access. - The world splits: those with access and those without.
The Ellison family is also about to own every major Black-media brand in America, and the largest Spanish-language cable portfolio outside of Univision and Telemundo. And they have never publicly stated a SINGLE commitment to Black or Latino audiences. Not one.
History tells us that Warner Bros. Discovery’s plan to sell itself is probably going to end in disaster. Read more from @charlespulliam.bsky.social:
"The fact that such an AI-heavy podcast could garner such a large audience is significant, and the consequences for journalists are hard to ignore." Non-journos are moving into journalism and doing a better job by embracing new tech, accuracy, and releasing it faster than any human can produce.
"The powder is dumped into the massive hot tubs, which can melt up to 120 tons of snow per hour, and spewed into the sewers as water." These are the "hot tub" machines that NYC is using to melt that hard, crusty, dirty snow all over the city. Really great tech.

Hey @nytimes.com, I'd love to see this same article, but for #Spanish because of Bad Bunny. Thank you! ✌🏾
I really hope this movie biopic works. So many setbacks, but this trailer gave me hope! Colman Domingo stars as Michael's father, Joe Jackson, but the star is by far Jaafar Jackson, MJ's nephew. He becomes Michael!
🫢 Is this a sign of things to come??
So according to this article, by 2028, the iPhone might go away. We’re going to be replacing it with VR glasses and headphones. But the trade-off is that tech companies will have 24/7 access to everything you see and hear. 👀 Will you make that trade?
I have a question.... What Would Happen If #BadBunny Sweeps the 2026 Grammys?
