Something frustrating I found while updating to pnpm 10 is that `pnpm approve-builds` is a no-op on machines that previously built dependencies with pnpm 9. I had to clone my repo to a new machine to get a list of dependencies that require postinstall scripts 🙃

Excited to try Astro 5 - especially the new responsive images experiment (hopefully I can make it work with Cloudflare Images)

Astro@astro.build

Astro 5.0 is here. Content layer, server islands, simplified prerendering, type-safe env, @vite.dev v6. All stable. Go see what you can do 👇 astro.build/blog/astro-5/

@nodecraft.com Hi! Creating a new Factorio server, and I got this modal saying I need to generate a map. Unfortunately, pressing OK does not seem to do anything. After clicking OK and clicking Start again, it fails to start again with the same error. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong?

Some of my fav tools I’ve discovered since getting a Mac (not all Mac-only): OrbStack, Ice, Mise, Just, Zoxide, and writing my own CLI in TS (commander-js + google/zx + tsx)

I feel like my generation experienced Peak Internet and we’re now on a downward trend. Google Search sucks. You can’t trust Amazon ratings. Twitter & Reddit are at war with their users. Every useful news site is paywalled and every garbage one is free. Turns out 2010s were the good old days.

It’s funny how Nintendo doesn’t want streamers playing their games. I’ve never bought a Nintendo game because I’ve never seen my favorite streamers play it. 90% of games I’ve bought and played in the last decade are because of streamers

Say the compliment out loud. I have some coworkers I really dig working with. I think that every time we do projects. So SAY it. “I really enjoy working with you! We always get it done and it’s always super collaborative!” Don’t just THINK the compliment. Say it. Then tell their boss.
