i love games with a lot of build diversity, but i hate coming up with the builds myself. i just want to follow a bunch of cool build guides and feel OP. is this a weird preference, or is this how most people are with these types of games?

From Sept through Nov, levels of the virus in wastewater, one of the most reliable metrics now that cases are no longer tracked, were unusually low. At various points over that span, hospitalizations & deaths also neared all-time lows. That’s not to say we are in for a COVID-less Christmas.

We heard you were all waiting for a certain gaming award ceremony today, so we've got you covered... 🏆 THE SECOND ANNUAL CRITTIES ARE HERE ✨ Let's take a look at the favorite games our team played this year--which may or may not have actually come out this year! 😁

to all my sports friends: we’re going to the celtics game!! ok you can stop reading this post now to everyone else: ok it’s safe we’re going to see wicked lol

my great regret about becoming a programmer: i find it impossible to enjoy city-building games anymore :( i used to be so enchanted by the magic of all the little people running around in there, but now that i have a rough idea of how it all works, i just don’t have any fun playing them. very sad :(

starting a major content rework project today! architecture and refactoring will probably always be the type of work i love the most, but i’ve been doing it pretty much exclusively for the last few months, so it feels great to do something so different

i've been working on a big STS2 refactor around the way we transition between rooms, and i finally got it merged today! there's really nothing else like that feeling of taking a tangled-up part of a system, digging deep, and winding up with something clean and easy to work with.

really excited to see this place blowing up so much with game devs. old twitter was my one of my favorite communities i’ve ever been a part of, and i’d be so happy to have it back

i love when you set off the metal detector at the museum and you show them the laptop in your bag and they’re like “ok you’re good” like… shouldn’t you check the other pockets??? there could still ALSO be a battle axe or greatwood in there ???

a thing i think about a lot: there’s nothing inherently “hacker-ish” about the hacker aesthetic (green on black text, monospace font, etc), it only exists because it was the most efficient thing to do in like the 1970s, but then it got picked up by movies and TV shows and now it’s a full vibe!

"it is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it" i scream at the weatherman as he tries to explain why 100% humidity means something other than "underwater"
