AI is a threat to human dignity, so we need counter measures to raise up and celebrate human dignity. There's a small chance I'm wrong about AI being a threat to human dignity, and we might be raising up and celebrating human dignity for nothing but I think we gotta risk it 🤷‍♂️

2: The time matrix, when you try to synthesize all the answers you're kinda asking your guests to argue with each other, and then they never do argue because they wanna be polite. So maybe just let them each have their answer don't try to synthesize?

To finish off this compliment sandwich...it's such a good podcast!!!!!!! Such a clever angle to focus on memorable devices, I always learn something new, and I look forward to it when new episodes are dropping. Keep it up!!!

If you ever feel conflicted about how AI is affecting your cognition, here's an interesting experiment: Learn to use an abacus. I'm dead serious. I do think we lost something when we stopped doing arithmetic with our bodies. But in other ways we gained a lot. Technology is tradeoffs!

re Fable: - first time I can think of when frontier went backwards...probably not the last time - dynamic workflows of Fable scoping + reviewing work that Opus/Sonnet did worked well. I had been skeptical that I'd ever voluntarily use a "worse" model but it honestly worked
