Hard to even begin to get your head around what a totally batshit crazy thing this is to hear from a Government official of any country, never mind the most powerful country on earth.

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

Erm... what? As if we're going to have to suffer the National collective indignity of this absolute fruitcake being at the Cenotaph every year for the next several decades. Ffs. Haven't we suffered enough?

POLITICO Europe@politico.eu

Liz Truss claims the U.K. would have managed successful missions to Mars within years — if only her 49-day premiership hadn’t been cut short.

Is this voter fraud in the room with us now?

TrumpReposter@trumpreposter.bsky.social

Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Such a shame for them. So sad.

“Farage & Jenrick were forced to face rows of empty seats as they set out a limp package of rehashed plans ahead of the Budget..The miserable turnout another sign of Reform’s sliding popularity…Ipsos this weekend put Labour on 32%, Tories on 24% & ReFUK on 20%..” www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

Incredible. Student List are candidates selected by groups of students to form an anti-corruption party. Another youth-led movement overthrowing an authoritarian government in Europe.

Would be interested to go for a pint with this guy, seeing as he's so local to me.

British Voter@britishvoter.bsky.social

I'm a White English non-religious man from Colne Valley, in my forties. My top issue is immigration. In 2024 I voted Labour. Today I still would.

It looks a bit windy. Actually, even though I'm currently sitting stationary in the car and debating whether or not I actually really do need to get out and go for a wee at Skelton Lake Services, I can tell it definitely is windy. The car is shaking.

Sad to report that I definitely do need to go for a wee. Currently wondering how much ligament damage I would do trying to reach my coat from the back of the car and trying to put it on before I get out of the car. 😒

Bit of a mixed picture, really.... Didn't injure myself reaching for the coat, however, forgot to undo my seat belt before putting the coat on, which did cause a bit of a delay. Not as windy as it looked. Nearly pissed myself. It's all go this morning. Exciting times.

Every time I go to McDonald's, on the rare occasions I go to McDonald's, I'm reminded why I don't go to McDonald's.* *Except for coffee. Their coffee is OK and I do occasionally enjoy a vanilla milkshake with a Couple of double espressos poured into it.

The guy must have a recording of one of his sets somewhere and the public has a right to demand to hear it. Mainly just cos I'm actually interested to know what his taste in music is like.

This is a very odd post from the President of a country that doesn't have universal health care.

A healthy person has a thousand dreams. A sick person has only one (to get better)! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Autistic eldest daughter has divulged that she intends to buy some cheese savouries and use them to go ghost hunting in town near a closed down Chinese restaurant. Not entirely sure what to do with this information. Good luck, ghosts. I guess.

For various reasons I've found myself watching 'Hot fuzz' and... honestly, my main concern here is that people from overseas like the US might see this film and think it's exaggerated. I've been to rural Gloucestershire, though. This is most Tuesdays, tbh.

Me, walking along the bank of a canal: Lady walking towards me: Me (in my head): Oh God! What if she thinks I'm a psycho, or a rapist, or a rapist psycho! Lady: Me: Should I walk near the water or near the wall! What's least threatening?! Lady: Me: Oh fuck! She's getting closer! What do I do!

Lady: Me: Oh my God! She's really close! We're going to have to pass each other! Lady: Me: How do not look like a psycho rapist, even though I'm not a psycho rapist!? Lady: Me: Help!!! Lady: Evening. Me (channelling 20yards of tension & 4000yrs of misogyny) *hissed*: 'eVEnInNnnnngggggg!!!!'

OK... what has Netanyahu got on him? You'd have thought after being dragged into a totally pointless war that has hopelessly bogged down his Presidency and absolutely tanked his approval ratings the Trump might be a bit pissed off about Bibi, but instead he's rimming the guy?

TrumpReposter@trumpreposter.bsky.social

(1/7) To the Great People of Israel: Bibi Netanyahu has been a Great Warrior Prime Minister, and an even greater Partner for Peace in combatting the Islamic Republic of Iran, with its 51 year old chant, “Death to Israel, Death to America! We will destroy the Little Satan

So unspeakably angry with myself about the 'Archbishop' typo here. This is how Sharia Halakha conquers us all.

James O'Flynn@jamesoflynn.bsky.social

Not really a digression at all, though. It's the whole point. I wish we'd found out specifically which Denomination Tommy is. I want to hear that fucker publicly disavow the Arch Bishop of Canterbury.

I feel you, Roman soldiers. I feel you.

John Bull@garius.eurosky.social

The Roman Army in Britain needed over a tonne of cheese to make it through the day. On the pod this week @deliciouslegacy.bsky.social and I look at how the Roman Army revolutionised cheese production and consumption in Britain. On Youtube and your pod app! open.spotify.com/episode/254E...

Kind of fascinating Tommy went all the way through this very simple back and forth that we all know the answer to, then at the end still said he thinks religious doctrine should be read into to the Constitution. Like he knows the Constitution says it shouldn't but thinks the Constitution is wrong.

Abdul El-Sayed@abdulelsayed.bsky.social

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

Never mind basic vetting failures, how would you even start with trying to vet for stuff like this? Where do they even find these people?

Is the USA the only place that makes wine now?

Sen. Adam Schiff@schiff.senate.gov

Without American wine on Canadian shelves, Canadians are also missing out on tens of millions of dollars in tax revenue they would obtain from selling our wine.

I don't understand how these people have so much money, but manage to dress so horrifically all the time. Surely their tailors are just taking the piss, aren't they?

This is important and highlights a very dangerous misconception. People are often scathing about Reform, saying they're stupid, but that's a long way from the truth. What they're doing is very clever politics. Not for solving any of the country's problems, but clever politics for building support

GylesNaMopaleen@gylesnamopaleen.bsky.social

This is quite extraordinary. I don't think I have heard a more coherent, articulate and accurate deconstruction & demolition of Nigel Farage's ReformUK, Tory & Restore policy than this. In under 85 seconds! @rafaelbehr.bsky.social is on here folks and worth a follow.
