I gotta say.. it is weird to me how many absolutely hideous costumes female characters get, but nobody does anything because it shows off their Tits and ass. it's just.. bizarre to me. Like the thing is awful to look at on every level.. but I guess she looks hot, so it's OK?

China’s first AI-generated theatrical film, ‘Sanxingdui: Future Past’, has bombed at their domestic box office, only making $121,000 USD against a budget of $1.5M USD. In contrast, the crudely animated ‘Niu Lai’ made nearly $10M USD against a budget of $200-500 USD.

this is a great comic.. and it has a forgotten evil Legion, though they are never called that.

X-Statix does not get enough love.. at all. Also weird that the Marvel wiki seems to think Phat's parents were poor when the comic pretty openly states he was middle class and the whole backstory was fabricated..

I voted. I did the "hold your nose and vote" but fuck the people who I had to vote for and their bullshit transphobia and misogyny.

We once had dreams as a people. Such dreams as may never come again.

Regular reminder: attacks on trans women hurt ALL women. It also hurts anyone whose gender presentation doesn't align with societal norms.. like men who wear makeup, for instance. That's a lot of people hurting for bullshit lies.

this is not some cool story about what AI can do.

Regular reminder.. "Reverse engineering" software with AI.. is still using AI and has all the problems that using AI does.. don't trust it.

I don't care what anyone says... Giffen clearly was not a fan of the Legion

calling this hack an Author or a writer is an insult to actual authors and writers. This is a prompt jockey churning out slop www.straitstimes.com/life/arts/37...

the irony of talking to people fired from an AI company who were the guardrails then.. using AI to transcribe the interview rather than people.. yeah www.npr.org/transcripts/...

Man.. let's take porn, which is already very rigid and awkward and often not that sexy.. And.. make it with AI so it looks even more fake and awful on every level. What a boner killer.

Wildwood is fantastic. Everyone should go see it. It's a truly unique and amazing film. Gorgeous,. complex, thought provoking and touching.. just a great great movie

Plaster those "100% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes!" blurbs on every piece of marketing you can find and bump those numbers up even more, let's make this HAPPEN.

I just saw an article calling Star Trek Lower Decks an.. homage to Star Trek. Maybe you shouldn't use words you don't understand.. because that doesn't mean what you think it means.

sad sad news. people.com/michael-gray...

The story of DS9 states that DS9 should be vastly more important than the reality of how the show was cast shows. And that gulf makes DS9 an extremely hard sell and watch for me. Cause DS9 should have at least 2x the size of cast.

Junji Ito is my favorite manga master. I agreed to a con in Argentina just because they said I could meet him in person. Deathdream is a tribute to him.

Wait.. we got new adventures of Pete and Pete in a music video in 2023 and nobody told me? You are all fired. youtu.be/WDVifDI1je0?...

remember how supposedly nobody wanted this awesome comic? And it was all bs? Yeah.. well.. it might get a movie. which is kinda awesome considering how new it is. deadline.com/2026/10/sony...
