While I was in there I got rid of React and libraries and CSS frameworks because why did I ever think that was necessary for a tool that does an operation on two numbers. All my projects are going to look like this from here on out.

I've discovered the most delicious box mix baked good holy cow. It's fluffy and decadent and the top gets all crispy. Freeze and reheat in a toaster oven/air fryer and they get even crispier.

I have a wild idea for the whale language scientists: create an online multiplayer game where players can communicate using an elden-ring style chat system. Engineer game mechanics so they behave like sperm whales, then make a language model out of their communications.

then you could compare that to the language model you already have of the actual whales talking to each other. I bet the shape of it would be a lot easier to match up than a real human language that has a bunch of vocab and concepts the whales don't have.

So i appealed the japanese maple leaf video takedown, which by the way was just 30 seconds of me pointing the camera at my monitor with this image displayed, and they reinstated it, showed it to like 150 people and then took it down again LMAOOO

Early snapchat and Instagram had tools for posting that allowed you to create something that felt unique and valuable. Even if you had a shitty phone you could make your photos look romantic and interesting. Instant fun.

Bluesky used to have the newskies feed. I have no idea if it's still widely used and useful but that's a good start. Having a popular feed that looks for good lowbie posts would be a good next step.

On tiktok you can have zero followers and post a video with no hashtags and you'll get minimum 300 views. If the video is good, it can go viral, even if you have no followers. Instant fun.

social media literally has to use machine learning tools for moderation, idk what to tell you. I think in a lot of cases it would make sense to have more human supervision than currently exists but it's straight up not possible to do this without some form of "AI".
