I’m joining the professional weirdos at CRITICAL REFLEX as a Brand Manager! Working for a publisher feels just right. Developer side, agency side and 10+ years of working on multiple clients at once, this role stitches it all together into a (hopefully not cursed) Frankenstein monster of a role.

IT’S HAPPENING. Curse of Resthaven arrives October 29 on PC, Mac, PS5 and Xbox. Two days before Halloween felt like the appropriate time to unleash the curse. And there’s more: we're giving you a bit longer to play the current demo and earn your bonus gold + skill points…

Well, here is another reason that I think @cultofthelamb.bsky.social has some of the best marketing in games. Love this idea, can't wait to see photos!!

cultists... we are returning to Melbourne International Games Week with something particularly... SINFUL... 🔥 THE HOUSE OF SIN 🐍 a ONE-NIGHT-ONLY CULT OF THE LAMB CABARET hosted by Madame FurFur, featuring a wide variety of devilish performances 😈 events.humanitix.com/house-of-sin

Thought I'd drop back into our Minecraft Realm for the first time in almost a year yesterday. Just for a quick look around, we've been building the place since 2020. Four hours later I'm still there, apparently I still love the game as much as ever.

Big thank you to everyone who's helped my job search so far. Really amazing support, it means so much to me. ❤️ Forgot to include in this post that I'm looking for Marketing and Brand things. 👇

I'm writing on a new quiz show coming to Channel 4! I'm on the hunt for contestants with a passion for gaming. Lots of knowledge across various popular titles. If that's you, drop a reply and I can add your details to a production list. Any shares/tags are more than welcome!

Highly recommend taking advantage of Against the Storm's free weekend. Played this loads and it's a really unique take on a city builder with a roguelite spin and dark fantasy aesthetic. ❤️

YUP. It's a job, like anything else! Sometimes you're working at an artisan coffee house. Sometimes you're brewing Nespresso in the sub-basement of an office. You're still the same skilled barista, just in wildly different circumstances depending on... what's happening in the world.

Very few (close to zero) career gamedevs realistically get to choose what games they end up working on. Working on a cool and/or successful game is not an inherent reflection of the skills of the individual in question.

This movie is so great, such a shame it never got its planned sequel. In my opinion, better than Hellraiser.

Butchered on its release only to be miraculously restored years later, Nightbreed is an impossibly beautiful, disgusting piece of nasty cinema about living on the margins of society. aftermath.site/nightbreed-mas...

Recently started watching From on NOW TV, got really into it only to find out it's getting removed from the service in 5 days and we're only on Season 2 and there's no physical release. How much good media will get lost from our reliance on streaming?!?

This is very shitty news. Compulsion games are original, beautiful and the sort of games that make you excited about the industry. Gutted for the impacted professionals.

Waiting for the delivery of a special screwdriver so we can clean the fans on our PS5 so that it'll stop crashing itself whenever I play a more complex game. Satisfactory and Return to Moria have not been happy with this dusty console. 😭 I just want to build cool bases!!

Working in marketing is realising your career includes sentences like: 🔮“I organised a Facebook Live séance in a haunted bookshop.” 🎢“I helped convince the UK public that a theme park launched a dog-friendly rollercoaster.” 🙄“I helped the Corridor Crew to turn their faces into jelly.” Ok then.
