This is the biggest update to server management since 2014. ◆ Instant Laravel VPS servers ◆ Zero downtime deployments ◆ Team terminal sessions ◆ Free on-forge domains ◆ Health checks, Heartbeats, & real-time metrics

I am at a loss how getting the bit locker status requires admin perms. I've tried it every way possible without elevation and it's just not doable 😑

Tech startup idea: instead of starting your car with your key, you get in, turn on the display panel, enter your password, get your phone out, open the authenticator app, enter your pin, enter the timed passcode, then open the start menu, then helpdesk, then "request engine start", then submit a tic

Someone give me the tea on why AWS root accounts *should* be gone? It seems like we're just swapping a root user with a super user and gaining nothing of interest?

I spent all weekend with CrewAI. Does anyone have a *working* use case under circumstances where they are being directed to execute a set of open ended, but precise, steps?

I'm building a character AI, and, as a result, I'm feeling rather surprised at how this tech is simultaneously saving me so much time while also being completely unable to follow directions and being very lazy. By itself, without chaining agents together, I am unable to get output that follows (1/x)

I bring the whitelist above it. When the whitelisted rule "Character must be respond with [X] if [Y]" is above "The character must respond", then it's like "Ok, it passes". But if i move it, the lazy ass AI seems to just stop immediately. It simply cannot understand complex rule systems at all.

So while we simultaneously go "wow this is great!" - it's really just three agents in a trenchcoat trying to make sure the original prompt was actually followed properly given it's entire context. What an incredible waste of compute? resources?

follows the rules i set when there are multiple conditions. For instance, i have my base prompt that has all rules. The output happens, then the rule checker fires into an AI evaluator. The evaluator will *STOP* at the first rule it thinks it's in violation of (loosely) unless ...

A truck sped up to cut me off in a lane merge (zipper). Pretty uncommon here, as most people know it's supposed to be alternating - it's common sense. Truck was covered in trump 2028 stickers. Makes sense.

Pubnub not fixing any bugs and moving the JS code to kotlin feels strange. Is there some hidden optimization at work here? Is making TS from kotlin goated and i just don't know it?

Kaiser refusing to fill prescriptions it has filled without issue for 6 years - sheeee. This is why people don't like health insurance companies. Now I have to go through their diagnostic system, and for what?

Kaiser suddenly telling me that i need to get a referral to an outside doctor to continue them filling prescriptions they've had no issue filling for the last 5 years... from the doctor I've already been seeing. So they aren't going to provide good mental health services, then deny outside doctors?

I don't see how this isn't a monopoly in addition to being harmful to everyone who takes charge of their own mental health and gets out of network doctors and pays out of pocket for their own consultations for their own benefit. Insurance companies should just not exist, at all.

It's now been 2 weeks since Gandi has had my domains stuck in limbo, unable to fix the problem despite escalation to their tech team. Holy shit, never using this DNS registrar again.

It's really weird to be in tech and staring at a long list of compliance docs while our government sits there talking about military ops like it's a WoW guild in discord.

Gandi lost some of our domains during transfer and I'm starting to get slightly worried... the ones going to AWS worked fine, but Gandi support has basically been like "uhhh..." and has now escalated it. This is kinda insane?

Sleep regressions in toddlers is literally feels paranormal after midnight. Like a demon has possessed my child and you just have to wait for daybreak for it to pass.

Just spent like, 5 hours on a weird ass safari bug where tiptap doesn't work because of the way safari handles [contenteditable]. We had to find an old mac from a colleague to even be able to reproduce it. Such a weird day.

Trudeau: I want to speak first directly to the American people… your government has chosen to do this to you. Your government has chosen to put American jobs at risk. They have chosen to raise costs for American consumers on everyday essential items…

At this point I'm not sure exactly what Meta is spending the money building. It's clearly not this? right?

This is Meta’s brand new ad for Horizon Worlds. Not sure how I’m supposed to feel about it.

Is there an easier way to do dynamic images in astro? I feel like the image glob method just ain't it when my images are sprinkled around randomly.

This is really it. I also have issues where I honestly ask myself if I saved any time at all after having to give it constant adjustments and corrections. Using it for bite sized cleanups and autocomplete are most my uses nowadays (and boilerplates)

I wrote some thoughts about AI in coding based on a recent experience blog.stephaniestimac.com/posts/2025/0...

I'm deeply confused about all these page builders and eternal cms tools for Astro. Do they plug into SSG for their components? Why are they all so damn expensive?

This game was way too difficult for a kid and I'm too scared to touch it as an adult now

I'm literally underwater with all the things I don't have time to do and want to do. It's crazy! I wish I had time for it all, but there are only so many hours in a day.
