Khan Noonien Singh is empathetic, creative, and an animal lover.

Bane is empathetic, creative, and an animal lover. Who else is empathetic, creative, and an animal lover? I would like to hear of others who are empathetic, creative, and an animal lover.

Have no memory of living in a world without Tom Skerritt being in lots and lots of movies and TV shows. He was always, always, always really good in everything he did. Rest In Peace.

Watching the Brewers get better and better over the past three years has been something to enjoy. The last time they were in the World Series I didn't even know what the hell a baseball was.

I'd call him an idiot, but I know he knows what he's doing. He's just really blatant and bad at it.

Q: How do you define socialism personally? JD VANCE: I think in reality what it actually means in the American context is you want to replace American workers with foreigners workers, and you want boys to play in girls' sports

The instinct to share something personal about Pac, but the amount of respect, care and commitment he had to wrestling and to being a professional is a line I can't bear to cross - but let that remind you just how good he was. Forever loved, forever respected. What a fucking Bastard.

First I've heard of either, but then again I don't really follow things this closely so I guess it does say something about me.

This kind of take made a Rolling Stone writer so mad they wrote a whole piece about it.

Goodnight to our friend Screaming Mad George. An entire generation of horror fans were birthed from your blend of surrealism and carnality. Your contributions to the genre flowed from the grotesque to the dynamically impossible. We hope you know you were loved by genre fans around the world.

Yeah...this won't work out. My dad back in the day quit and then drank some non-alcoholic beer for a bit. Then he started drinking the real thing. Then his ass went to rehab. A cycle that probably still happens, but I haven't talked to him in almost thirty years. Good luck with that Brad.

HALF NELSON was a 1985 Joe Pesci TV series that was cancelled after 9 episodes, but its intro seems to last forever via an escalating cavalcade of absurd cast reveals, underscored by a theme song that feels like a gag gift when you can't license "I Love L.A."...

I watched this show with my parents, along with Miami Vice, at a way too young age. I loved both of shows.

Season one of this series was perfect. Season two was a mess, but mainly because there was a writers' strike. Among its many virtues, it collected 35mm color film of a lot of pre-1960s Chicago-area architecture and design treasures that were torn down 5 to 10 years after the series was canceled.

No longer content with pillaging intellectual work and dismembering our environment (already critically weakened), AI companies are now hellbent on destroying books galore including rare editions. Shut down these nefarious enterprises already.

Big Trouble in Little China. Most of Carpenter's filmography would cover this though.

Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Disney, or Ghibli.

I know that everyone's doing the Weekend at Bernie's bit, but can I interest you in Weekend at Bernie's 2 he starts moving when music is played?

McConnell spokesperson: “Senator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he’s receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital. The Senator continues to improve, and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session.”

Everything is viewed simply as "content". I've grown to hate the word

Yeah, I'd prefer to be in a bubble away from the right wing lunatics, Nazis, and tech bros...which are basically the same thing. I know they're still out there, but I don't need the constant reminder the hellsite provides.

Corey Atad@coreyatad.com

i think, end of the day, the real problem with Bluesky is that most of its users are here *because* they want to be in a bubble. and they can tell themselves that it’s just about not being around Nazis it supporting Musk, and that’s part of it, but also there’s a palpable desire to be ensconced.

What a bizarre company. I'm assuming that Pat was paid by WWE so he was paid to go on TV and say to not spend money on a WWE show. Not only that, but don't spend money on Wrestlemania. This is not a serious company
