“Don’t worry, Pete. That little speech I read was just for the voters back home. I have to put on these little shows to convince them I’m independent. You will get the $1.5 trillion for your wars even though I just gave ICE unlimited funding to run wild. We’ll just borrow more.”

Tomorrow, the House will vote on the NDAA, which includes a provision to merge parts of our military with the IDF. This amendment is an existential threat to American sovereignty and democracy. Every member of Congress must vote NO.

Corporations spend more than $1.5 billion a year on union-busting. That’s $1.5 billion they could have spent on higher wages, better benefits, and improving workplace safety. Remember: if they weren’t so scared of worker power, they wouldn’t fight so hard against unions.

Faulkner is delusional. Boy, talk about government intervention to disrupt people’s lives for revenge! Plus, do they really think airports in red states would be able to handle the influx of all the extra travelers.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Faulkner: "Sanctuary cities include Boston, Chicago, Denver, LA, NY, Philadelphia, SF. All of those airports handle 1,100 int'l flights per day. They're not just gonna not fly. They're gonna go to red states and cities. A boon for red states. People will just really hate living in blue states."

Five corporations control 90% of the US media market. Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today. Four giants control 80% of meat processing. A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry. The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.

Khanna: "The speaker looked frazzled last night. I think he's totally lost it. He's attacking the bill and he's not showing up to hear the survivors. The survivors wanted this bill. Then he's voting for a bill he criticized. And he's lost the confidence of half the people in his own caucus."

Massie: "The president has been saying this is a hoax. Well, he's just now decided to investigate a hoax, if it's a hoax. And I have another concern about these investigations he's announced. If they have ongoing investigations, those documents can't be released. So this might be a big smokescreen."

At least they FINALLY admitted why they refused to negotiate on the shutdown. First they lied and promised Dems they would “negotiate” this, but only AFTER they voted for the CR. But Dems were correct when they assessed that Republicans NEVER intended to extend these subsidies.

Lamont: We have something called Revolution Wind. It’s 80% complete and will likely power 300,000 to 400,000 homes by this time next year. It will dramatically bring down costs.. We were almost done — and then, at the very last moment, Trump pulled the plug on it.

This is unconscionable by the State of GA. The State made the decision to keep her on life support but expect the family, who were not consulted, to pay for this.

The state of Georgia is using the body of a brain-dead woman as an incubator. Because she was 9 weeks pregnant when she died, and their abortion ban is from about 6 weeks, they are sustaining her on life support, without input from her family, until 32 weeks of gestation. A true dystopian nightmare.

Termination notices sent to V.A. contractors. Effective immediately “You shall not be paid for any work performed or costs incured which reasonably could have been avoided … You remain liable to your subcontractors & suppliers for costs arising because of the termination of subcontracts or orders”

DOGE cut off payments for the electricity, cell phone, and internet service of U.S. government employees who work in a high-risk area in Central America. Meanwhile, DOGE apparently plans to spend $25,000 to install a washer and dryer for their own personal use in a federal office building in DC.
