For those who do not know, Australian Bat Lyssavirus (ABLV). It is related to rabies but is not the classic form of rabies. Lyssavirus is found in large fruit bats (a.k.a flying foxes) and insect-eating microbats. We do not have the classic form of rabies in Australia.

The major cultural changes required are behavioural and will take generations to sort out. Australians cannot stand people who are too intelligent, entrenched anti-intellectualism throughout history. Australia has one of the worst bullying rates in the world as well. Something needs to be done.
