close up! Check out this cool game i did the art for, in an ancient tapestry style to match the story themes. I made a whole bunch of custom brushes to give a densely packed thread look. #art

I have an unusual opportunity: I've been offered the opportunity to display the visual art of a tabletop roleplaying game in one of our campus galleries for 6 months. What game and artists (including layout designers) would you recommend? We'd need to be able to set this up quickly!

One of my favorite parts of creating Ahu Tiiko was the complex web of NPCs and their interconnections. It was important for them not just to feel like real people, but also for them to have real relationships. bit.ly/4e95p4c I'm going to talk about them a bit... 🧡 #PeopleOfAhuTiiko

Saw the Odyssey; it was a good movie...But I have some opinions: 1. No Gods changes the story 2. Odysseus is treated very consistently within his morals, and that drastically changes the story 3. The version of the story in the movie is more so a commentary on humanity and change, which is fine tbh

that he was forced to make them. Just an, eh what can I do, I'll still try to do the best/good I can despite knowing it won't turn out good...That completely changes the question of Odysseus' morality. Which for me, I think adds so much flavor to his character, so seeing it stripped bummed me out.

His character is just a way for us to tell the story of the fall of human decency, but in a way that almost feels passive. Like they tell us he has guilt and he made choices but the way the story is /shown/ to us, it doesn't feel like that. It feels out of his control, it should have been mixed up

Yeah that Cyclops bit really put me off, and that's when I realized they were severely changing how Odysseus is seen morally. We see him as consistently trying to do the right thing and do not show the transition into making harder choices; it just feels like the hard choices befell him, not

Calypso was very...meh. Got no lotus eaters though lotus was being ate-- And then the giants were okay LMFAO Mostly I just like Circe's scene, and I think the Cylops coulda been great if they let him talk because they basically made him no better than a beast, therefore easier to kill (morally)
