I've been lucky enough to start the year doing Pattern Club's (@patternclubsheff.bsky.social) Winter School. Last weekend, we got familiar with strudel.cc/ & Carnatic rhythms, and this weekend, incredibly, we learnt about Flamenco and made weird robots! (Pencil case = a weight!)

There's a 3,500 sq km iceberg (the world's largest) heading towards the island of South Georgia, threatening the wildlife of this amazing and important conservation area. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I'm now thinking back fondly, jealously and sadly about the days when I allowed myself time for such rabbit-holing. The backlog of blogs I have in my head is ridiculous, and even includes a list of the various house infestations I've lived through, ranked.
