So my 11 year old dropped his school laptop it won’t come on. I’ve got it apart trying to fix it and I may have spilled a substantial amount of bourbon on it. Only one thing I can do now.

Not for me they aren’t. I owe almost twice as much while earning basically the same as last year. Even with 3 kids and paying nearly $20k for childcare, we still owe a ton. I am so effing tired of this economy not working well for us. We can’t afford to do anything anymore.

This is the most disingenuous headline I’ve read in a while. They make it sound like VA senators increased their salaries by hundreds of thousands. It went from <checks notes> 19k to 50k. This makes it possible for poor people to serve. Also the Dems significantly raised the state minimum wage.

Yay! They’re finally going to fix my PSSR!

Finally getting around to watching a Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and this is great! I’m two episodes in and I’m going to think of it as a Medieval Times origin story until it stops being that.

It was an obvious passing fad, but playing Uncharted 3 on a 3D television was a fantastic experience. I sold that TV long ago, but I wish there was a way to go back and experience the game that way again.

Can we please be done with Ai? My kids just wanted some NFL trivia. If I make a good NFL trivia myself and upload it to YouTube it will get something like 7 views.

Some of the best games ever made have the worst representations of night. Who decided “daytime but blue” was a good idea. Give me Dragon’s Dogma 2 night.

Got my hands on a pretty hard to get Imperial IPA. Might have to wait for RE9 night to crack these open.

For all those still holding onto hope that god exists. I’ve got bad news.

I have two kids who are great at baseball, ages 10 and 11. I got talked into having them join a travel team. That was a mistake. This is a warning. Travel baseball is a racket.

One of my best friends died today. He’s been my friend for over 25 years. I’m completely gutted. Never felt such a void in my life before.

Finished Cairn. What an amazing game! My early GOTY. We just don’t often get games that feel so completely original. I’m gonna see how high I can get at free solo difficulty now.

In the two man bobsled it’s the drivers job to steer and not fart.

I enjoy watching the ski jumping, but I really feel some flaming hoops and pyrotechnics would add a lot to the pizazz.

Kids wanted to play something scary for Friday 13th, but “not too scary.” I think it’s time for them to experience this masterpiece.

So do we want this remake to stay true to original trilogy with an isometric camera and QTEs galore? Or are we hoping it’s right over the shoulder Kratos Cam™ with combat like the newer games? I’d personally prefer the former.

Every time I teach my kids a lesson on self accountability, or honesty, or integrity, or empathy, or dignity… I find myself wondering, what the hell are republicans teaching their kids?

As we get closer to RE9, I find myself hoping it’s a lot closer to RE7 than RE8. I loved 8, but the clearly divided slices of horror genres felt a bit weird at times. Just give me straightforward storytelling. I want crazy shit to happen, but I want it to be more organic.
