It is easy to condemn cruelty when someone else commits it. The harder question is what cruelty you've learned to overlook because it benefits you.

What if “economic growth” isn't the highest form of progress? What if progress means people have enough—not endless consumption, but enough time, security, creativity, connection, rest, and freedom to actually experience being alive?

Reason demands we look at necessity. Since we can thrive on plants, the mass slaughter of animals is a choice, not a need. How do we transition our food system—and support our farmers—to align our daily diets with our deepest human virtues of what is truly ethical, compassionate, and just? 🌿

Most people love animals but eat them anyway. Is this a moral contradiction, cognitive dissonance, or just the natural result of living in a system designed to hide where our food comes from and how it is processed? 🫣

TOTD: Technology, especially AI, should be a means of liberation—not simply another mechanism for productivity, consumption, and profit. Progress should advance human freedom, giving us more time to live, create, connect, care, and experience community and the natural world.

We say everyone deserves a chance. But when someone loses their job, their home, their health, or their support system, we often treat their suffering as evidence that they made bad choices. How much misfortune does it take before we decide someone no longer deserves compassion?

Good morning ☕️💭 What's one belief you held with absolute certainty 10 years ago that you no longer believe? What changed your mind? 🤔💡

I no longer want a life that looks impressive from the outside. I want one that feels peaceful when I’m alone in it. 😌 Preferably with good snacks 🥨🍿🍪 and an endless eclectic playlist. 🎧🎶💞

The calls for him to testify regarding the Epstein Files got too loud and the anxiety over midterms too high, so sure, war it is! 🤬

Geesh, Kid Rock couldn't even lip sync to his own music!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Milli Vanilli did it better. Girl, you know it's true. 🎶🙃

Once upon a Green Day 🌳, everyone cheered for the SuperB Owl 🦉, but then Bad Bunny 🐇 bounced in and the spotlight was his… everyone danced and embraced the diversity… and no one really gives a hoot if you disagree. ☺️🎶🙃

Since there's a character limit on Bluesky, I'm sharing my Facebook post as an image here. Some thoughts on the Epstein Pedo Files... in short, hold them all accountable, both sides! Full stop.

It’s time for US to stand on values, morals, and principles. This trancends politics, it's fundamentally about humanity. 🚫🧊🆘️🇺🇸✊️

Anyone else having major issues with TikTok today?? Videos won't post (stuck in "being processed"), blank videos on other profiles, fyp is months old content, etc. When I try to repost, I get a "no internet connection" message. 🤬

Minnesotans are showing US what it means to come together as a community against an oppressive and tyrannical government. 🆘️🇺🇸✊️

Jack Smith: "The people who assaulted police officers and were convicted after trial in my view and I think in the view of the judges who sentenced them to prison are dangerous to their community. Some of these people have already committed crimes against their communities again."

Why is ‘burnout’ treated like a personal failure instead of a system flaw? 🤔 Work should support life. Not consume it. 😩

Being a good person feels extremely radical these days. 😔🌍 We have totally lost the plot of humanity. 💔🤦🏻‍♀️

🚨 PSA: Rage Against the Machine wasn’t giving a tutorial on ‘how to obey blindly.’ They were screaming ‘F*ck you, I won’t do what you tell me!’ Go back and listen. After 32 years, it's still relevant today. 🖕🧊✊️

Everyone should login to Substack, search Sascha Riley, and listen to the audio files from this interview. You will understand why Trump and loyalists do not want the full Epstein Files released. 😡🤮🤬

Just a reminder that Congress has the authority to endTrump regime’s reign of terror at any time. That they choose not to is illustrative of their active collusion with his crimes. They swore an oath, they should be prosecuted by their daily failure to uphold the Constitution and rule of law.

When narratives and propaganda override evidence, public trust collapses. Democracy requires truth, oversight, and lawful accountability. The Constitution provides tools to protect the public from domestic threats... impeachment is one of them. **Congress: USE IT!** 🇺🇸🆘✊

Analog life was wild. Missed a call? Oh well. Got lost? You figured it out. Wanted peace? You had it. We were told technology would improve our lives… but somehow it mostly improved our ability to be stressed in HD.

Also... once upon a time, technology promised convenience. Now, I’m overwhelmed, overstimulated, and arguing with a robot about whether I’m human. 😜

I hope every military leader, and those currently serving, continue to honor their oath to the Constitution, especially after the fascist-style speeches at Quantico yesterday. We do have domestic enemies but the threat is not fellow citizens, it is Trump & his regime. 🤬

Key Red Flag: when the sitting President is the first to announce a death and instantly frames it as the fault of “the other side” before investigators have released any verified information. 🚩🚨🤔

Seriously, it's so weird when people give vegans a hard time or say their food is gross, but they don't even bat an eye at eating dead animals aka other beings. 🙄🤔🤨

Did it happen? I woke up to people speculating, but do you think the WH would tell us right away or try to hide it as long as they can? 🤔 They certainly aren't squashing the rumors and we know they pay attention to social media.

The most terrifying part of the Trump regime isn't the blatant corruption; it's the millions of people who see it and enthusiastically ask for more. 😱😡
