Repeating myself. 55 years later we're practically back where we were in 1971. My Nixon was reprinted in a history book, Civil Wars of the 60s by Issermann and @mkazin.bsky.social. Presidents who treat the Constitution as a minor inconvenience should be impeached and removed.
I hope that Trump admin doesn't hear about the Albany (CA) police giving away DEI pens at the Solano Stroll yesterday. We had an Albany Thrives Together booth again. Busiest Stroll in years! There were at least 50,000 people there. BTW albanytt.org

Please vote to save BART! I know so many people who have lived here their whole lives and haven't ever ridden it. Go try it. Take a train to Rockridge or downtown Oakland and have a nice lunch. Want a real adventure? Check out Walnut Creek, but watch out for culture shock.
It would be really.... unfortunate...if Bart had a major breakdown in the lead up to this vote. You know, something that would show workers just how badly traffic would get. www.sfchronicle.com/politics/joe...
Who remembers the 1980 election when Bill Casey met secretly with Iranians to offer them a better deal if they kept the hostages until after the election? The Dems should be doing the same with keeping the strait closed! newrepublic.com/article/2117...

#urbanism+ www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/arti... I'm retired and don't commute but I do enjoy taking BART to the Fox Theater in downtown Oakland. They are talking about closing down at 9pm, which would kill my fun. Bummer! Let's all vote for the transit tax.
#urbanism+ www.sfchronicle.com/realestate/a... First time I've seen plans for multiple new single-family homes in the SF East Bay in years!
