Catherine Fitzsimmons

I guess I should have a pinned post for this account. You may know me as the author of ENDURING CHAOS, A JEWEL ON SAPPHIRE, and other books; the owner/one-person show behind @brainlagbooks.bsky.social; artist; or VGM enthusiast; but I dabble in a lot. Anything you want to see from me?

#Inktober 21: Hero Should’ve posted this on Friday. I think I’m done with Inktober.

The world is a nightmare but the wildlife is still magical. ✨ This hummingbird struck quite a pose for me! I've mentioned before I've updated my contracts to make sure everything in the production of my books is done by humans and not "AI"; if you're wondering what such a thing looks like, here's a clause covering that from a recent contract.

For anyone who says they wish they could draw... YOU CAN!! For anyone who says they don't have "talent"... just draw and learn!! If you really like art, then draw what you love & eventually you'll love to learn new things too!! my art now VS my art when I decided to pursue art 😳 YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!
