“Lost media” no longer! I finally got permission to upload “AL’S BRAIN,” an 11-minute educational 3-D film attraction which ran at the Orange County and Western Washington fairs, and hasn’t been seen publicly since 2009. You can watch the whole thing here: youtu.be/2xujU87ZHt4

Can we all just pause for a second and acknowledge, Pete Hegseth doesn’t want troops taking the flu vaccine, but DOES want troops on hormone therapy?

Mamdani: "As we mark 250 years ... we see the wealthiest country -- one where children go to sleep hungry while the world's first trillionaire hungers for more ... we see masked agents terrorizing our streets, eating food cooked by undocumented neighbors before spiriting them away in unmarked vans"

Obama’s speaking and the World Cup crowds showing the US what happens to people when healthcare is affordable and they get enough PTO, we could be doing so much better here

Kilmeade to an agreeing Markwayne Mullin: "In Belfast they're standing up because their leaders have let them down. They're trying to take their country back. They want to label them as racist. All they want to be is Irish. They want Ireland back. I see a lot of the same fights here."

Trump on being booed at the NBA Finals: I think it was mostly cheers. It was loud. And it was very enthusiastic

Can we stop pretending younger generations are kids? GenX are adults under 60, Millennials are adults under 50, GenZ has been in the workforce for 10 years now, we are fully realized adult people

Gillian Brockell@gillianbrockell.com

They’re packaging it like this so it looks like a shallow trend, but Gen Z has gone through two financial crises, a pandemic, rising fascism, active shooter drills since they were toddlers, and are now being told by the oligarchy they’re to be replaced by robots. Socialism is the logical conclusion.

Idaho health officials are investigating how nearly 60 people got sick after drinking raw milk in the past two weeks. The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare says they didn't name two dairies potentially linked to the outbreak “because this is a potential risk for any raw milk producer.”

We’re going to find out how absolutly stupidly useless it all is

When all of this is over, when all the tell-all books have been printed, all the trials concluded, all the people with nothing left to fear by speaking up... we're going to find out it's all been so much worse than we ever thought it was. That the whole thing was absolutely and totally awful.

Every once in awhile I like to pull one of my nieces and nephews aside and tell them that they are my favorite and not to tell the others… can’t wait for the reading of my will

I talked to my friends more during panini, then i did before or since, thanks to dnd and zoom

I'm seeing a lot of Early Lockdown Nostalgia being activated by the Hantavirus panic. Stuff like this is always a weird reminder that I...didn't really experience the pandemic like most people. 2020 might have been the most social year of my life. It's weird to not share that with most people

The common denominator with farmers is, they do not want to be told what to do, and they DO NOT trust the govenment at all.

BlonicYouth@blonicyouth.bsky.social

youtuber FarmtoTaber had a great piece on why farmers vote republican. Basically they always make more money under dems, but it's through incentives and trade programs. "grow more x, sell to y" stuff. The catch is they gotta work for that. Repubs otoh just boost subsidies. Less money but it's free.
