I understand why I get so many texts & emails from Talerico, Peltola, Turek, etc. But I get more from Wes Moore than anyone else (except Talerico). Why? I feel Moore is stealing money from other Dems who really need it - to what end? Certainly not his own re-election - future campaigns? Stop it!

Jen Bendery@jbendery.bsky.social

NEW: We asked readers if they've been drowning in political texts, calls, mailers and TV ads, and to share pics of what they're getting. Hooo boy, did we get responses! Some fumed its been "harassment." Some won't donate to Dem campaigns ever again. www.huffpost.com/entry/voters...

As my governor, Tim Waltz, said 2 years ago: " Mind your own damn business!!"

Charlotte Clymer@charlotteclymer.bsky.social

Just a periodic, friendly reminder that we could actually avoid all this by not caring who’s attracted to, who’s having sex with who, who’s marrying who, let alone believing any of it should matter in public policy. We could just all mind our own business and all have rights. ✨

I'm a rural Minnesotan, son of a disabled WWII veteran injured fighting the fascists in Italy. I traveled to Minneapolis to join my adult sons to protest American fascists who were killing my fellow citizens. Violent and criminal? No. Pissed off at the likes of Tafoya and Emmer? Absolutely. #mn06

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

wow -- Michele Tafoya says Minnesota who protested Operation Metro Surge weren't peaceful and says, "this was not about peaceful protesting. This was about violence and criminal conduct."

Only way to decidde about God's gender is to asks the Christian nationalists: Does your God have XX or XY chromosomes?

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

Talarico: “[My] comment about God not being defined by gender...I was being provocative...But I think what I was saying is actually not controversial theologically...the late Charlie Kirk said that, the late Pope Benedict said that. And so, yes, I was doing it maybe in an annoying way. I can admit."

Waiting for my congressman Tom Emmer to defend his colleague #mn06

When will we stop pretending that big-time "college" football and basketball are anything other than professional sports leagues? Would we accept the federal gov't creating a salary cap for the NFL, or NBA? If there is to be a salary cap, let it be negotiated by players not the federal gov't.

Cory Booker@corybooker.com

Why should players accept financial guardrails when coaches don't have to?" The Protect College Sports Act is a bad deal for college athletes, who fought for years to secure the rights they have today. op: @benmalleronfox | @foxsportsradio

A crime! Not only did the Inquirer rank "Here Come the Sixers" #37 on its list of Most Iconic Philly Songs, it lumped in an all-time banger with the inferior "Fly, Eagles, Fly" and "High Hopes" just because they're sports related. And yet you know "Gonna Fly Now" from Rocky will be top 5 if not #1

This aged well . . . I guess something other than "time" is testing the patience of familues.

The New York Times@nytimes.com

For the first time in decades, members of Congress have secured a major legislative package that could make housing more affordable. But it will take time to put into effect, testing the patience of families rankled by high prices.

Ah yes, the senator who challenged a witness to a fistfight during a hearing will definitely bring a steadier hand. Much as the senator who keeps confusing Iran and Iraq and apologized because he "was mispoke" there will surely help restore public confidence.

Dems should be pushing on AI hard . . .but I don't think privacy will be it - most people already know that is a lost cause & they don't care. Repeal calls to Section 230 might get the attention of the tech bros - the US can learn from the EU on this! all so they can become trillionaires!
