I wish I was one of those people who could work while sick. like, I struggle to work while sick on a good sick, and this sure hasn't been that, but even being able to do that would make me feel less bad about being shut down for two whole weeks with apparently more to come.

cis liberals can't answer "well then what rights would you give up?" because they fundamentally can not imagine they will ever, nor should ever, be in such a position. they aren't avoiding the question because they're aware of their own hypocrisy, they are flat out unable to process the question.

saying "I don't use ai and I don't support its use" or "I don't trust moderates to return my rights on their own" is doomerism but, importantly, saying stuff like "shut up ai is here! you can't stop it!" and "shut up your rights aren't important! you can't win that way do as you're told!" aren't

why can't they just shut up? why can't they just use the ai? they're posting from phones, after all! why can't they just vote and be quiet? obama used to be homophobic, after all! why can't they just consume and never criticize anything? you feel bad, but aren't they MAKING you feel those feelings?
