I don't recommend sleeping with your eyes open. Last night it was "What the fuck is that? There's bugs!" (there were no bugs) and "There's a fire! Is that supposed to be on fire?" (there was no fire, only a washing basket).

How exactly is harnessing the power of AI going to bolster my security, as a self employed printmaker, John Healey? www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026... #printmaker #printmaking

A little winter world, ready to unfold... Follow the river from town into the countryside, past allotments, houses, sheds, trees and hedgerows. My illustrated concertina scene comes with its own little fox and hare to place in front. www.johnbloor.co.uk/products/fol... #Christmas #Illustration

Out doing pizzas in the rain! We try and do them every month even in the winter. #pizza

I managed to break one of the hearing aid wires so I'm without them until next Friday. I find that I can't think straight without my hearing. But we are back into the kitchen 14 weeks after I started! Still got to do the tiles and flooring. Very happy with it though. #hearingloss

I'd like to sign up to fight in the war against the US.

Illustration for my dad's Christmas present. I already did his Strat and this is his Gretsch. Made in Illustrator, all vectors. #gretsch #guitar #illustration

Is there any big company that has decent customer service any more?

If there's one thing I could use AI for it would be to keep photos of certain people out of my social media. I'd be quite happy to never see another photo of Trump again.

There is no ethical use of AI! It is all theft.

Saw Angine de Poitrine last night in Bristol and they blew my tiny little mind. So much so that I was crying about my cat who died two years ago. It's great when that happens at a gig. #livemusic #gigphotography #photography #music

Fuck America. Well the bit between Mexico and Canada.

Really? I'm not.

In Bristol for Angine de Poitrine.

Listening to Green Lung "Necropolitan" for the first time. It's a heavy music kind of day. Loving this. @greenlungband.bsky.social #nowspinning #nowplaying #vinyl #metal

Listening to Pancho "Pancho EP". Great music by a new band and they are playing at @atgfestival.bsky.social next year! #nowspinning #nowplaying #vinyl

Listening to Mr Bungle "The Raging Wrath Of The Easter Bunny Demo". Everything feels incredibly intense today. I need to know how to relax. #vinyl #metal #nowspinning #nowplaying

I'm sorry but fuck people. We have no right to euthanise animals. Fuck humans. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

The reason I want ADHD meds that work is mainly because I want to be able to relax at last and play vinyl. #vinyl

Tomorrow we celebrate the end of the kitchen fitting (apart from the tiles). It has taken me three months and one week. Some of it was delays for plumbing, floor grinder hire etc. I will be very relieved.

Listening to the wonderful Ralph Heidel this evening, for some late evening listening. I love everything he has done so far. #nowplaying kryptox-music.bandcamp.com/album/relief

We watched Hudson Hawk last night for film club and it is the worst film I've ever seen. No redeeming features. It's so bad it's terrible. I can't believe we saw this at the cinema. The script was so painful I wanted to turn it off. #movies

Mum and dad are very kindly getting me this Dave Holland "Freedom Call" box set for Christmas. It's beautifully recorded and I can't wait to hear it on vinyl. This is the first vinyl box set I've got for absolutely years. #jazzsky #jazz #vinyl

You've probably never seen a cooking simulator like this! This is William's new game, Food Lab. It is a real simulation of cooking. Check out the trailer. Do wishlist the game too! store.steampowered.com/app/4889000/... #gamdev #game #cooking #simulator

The middle band we saw last night was Peer Pleasure and I thought they were brilliant. peerpleasure.bandcamp.com/track/rooms

Received new records from the wonderful @normanrecords.com on Saturday. Horse Lords "Demand to Be Taken to Heaven Alive!" Talk Talk "The Colour of Spring" half speed master Son Lux "Out Into" Orbital "Glastonbury 1994" and Formal Sppeedwear "Punch Card" #vinyl #nowplaying

Went out this evening to see The Erotic Secrets of Pompeii at the Railway in Winchester. The supports were really good too, especially Peer Pleasure. A fun evening. #music #livemusic

Can anyone recommend any cool online shops (similar to @presentcorrect.bsky.social ) who sell interesting things? Amazon is basically like Temu now and awash with shit. Etsy is just awful. Thanks!

I wouldn't go to see Oasis if you paid me. Can't think of anything worse than being around all those drunk rowdy blokes.

Just received in the post, this wonderful, in my opinion, album from 2001. This is a reissue from 2025. Lovely downtempo, sort of trip-hop, ambient music with lots of samples. Susumu Yokota "Grinning Cat" Can't wait to play it on the turntable! #vinyl #vinylsky

I'm going to have to play all my Depth Charge 12"s again. Only played them a couple of weeks ago. RIP J Saul Kane.

Hoping to return to printmaking in the next few weeks. I've been refitting our kitchen. Things are finally moving a lot quicker after having a few holdups. #printmaking #diy

Playlist for my radio show on Saturday from 6pm on Radio Woking and also available at www.cwmp3.com #radio #music

What scene makes you emotional no matter how many times you've seen it?

I have to modify a kitchen cabinet tomorrow to accommodate a waste pipe and a mains water pipe. It's so frustrating, I want to not have to do that. I want it to be all neat and tidy!

Every time I play vinyl now I have a near transcendental experience. It took me 40 years to get here but now I hear so much subtlety, nuance and timbre with every recording. I'm externally grateful for being able to get to this point and intend to make the most of it. #vinyl #audiophile

I keep expecting to see my brother-in-law.

#nowspinning Saturno 2000 A great compilation of Rebajada music. #nowplaying #vinyl

#nowspinning #nowplaying Solar Corona "Pace" Brilliant rocky Krautrock album. And a walloping sound. I have a Bandcamp download code if anyone wants it. #vinyl #vinylsky #vinylcommunity #audiophile

#nowspinning #nowplaying New Regency Orchestra s/t Fantastic Afro Cuban music with a great brass section. #vinyl #vinylcommunity

The new Green Lung album is good but it's not as good as their previous albums IMO.

Vinyl and hi-fi.
