So sad. I didn’t know him well but always had very positive interactions with him. I hope he’s found the peace he’s been looking for.

Am I the only person who finds it unprofessional when someone writes a brand name wrong? It's not "Editor Ninja." It's not "editor ninja." It's DEFINITELY not "Ninja Editor." It's EditorNinja. Details matter.

He’s not wrong

The pushback I always get when I say you can just work more to get more results is wild. "But 80 hours a week isn't sustainable!" My dude, no one said to work 80 hours a week. But if you work 40 instead of 30, that's 33% more. And an additional ~500 hours a year. That's a full quarter more!

Not sure why, but I wasn't expecting to see that 2/3 of EditorNinja's scheduled sales calls for this year (as tracked via events in Fathom) have been on mobile. Good thing I take mobile heavily into account when designing landing pages!

Last July, I was close to breaking my neck in a mountain biking fall in France. That could've left me paralyzed. Fortunately I didn't, but I've been recovering for the last 10 months. Yesterday, I got to lift weights for the first time in almost a year, and in my new home gym. Grateful.

Some of my best thinking happens right here, on my couch in my office, with my feet up. Not all productivity looks like productivity. Be kind to yourself and know what you need to stay fresh and get the most done.
