Remember when centrist Democrats fight harder against the left than against mega-fascists? James Carville's last domestic election win was 1992. We need leadership that actually fights for working people, not old strategies that got us here. Support candidates building real coalitions.

Glad about the result, but I don’t think it speaks well of us as a country that after two years of human rights violations, war crimes, naked gangster corruption, and contempt for the Constitution, he’s finally unpopular because gas got expensive.

Remarkable: An Iowa right wing radio host just leaked word that GOP polling shows House Rs in peril even in districts Trump won by +10. The culript? Trump and the war. On the pod, Iowa Dem chair Rita Hart explains why the conditions are ripe for big Dem rural gains: newrepublic.com/article/2158...

Y’all, this is the union difference. Young working-class men in unions are more likely to own a home, get married, and have kids. A union isn’t just about what happens at work. It’s about having the power to build the life you want.

americanprogress.orgHow Unions Help Young Working-Class Men Buy Homes and Start FamiliesNew CAP analysis of demographic data shows that union men under age 35 are more likely to get married, have kids, and own their own homes—especially young men without college degrees.

As far as I'm concerned, if at this stage of public recognition of ICE acts of abuse, ignoring judicial orders, and violating federal, state, and local laws--and you're still an ICE employee--you are either a domestic terrorist or a supporter of domestic terrorism. And should be treated as such.

I know it may be really difficult to understand this but I am unshakably convinced that I am fully equal to a cis person, and that all trans people are.

Finally, a post EVERYONE can agree with: I condemn anyone who lies about what they did on 9/11, and I condemn anyone who says the current Mayor of NYC, who’s Muslim, must not participate in a 9/11 ceremony in NYC. In other words, I condemn stolen valor, dishonesty, and bigotry. You too, right?

Black people have never been “lazy.” That lie was engineered to erase our labor &justify exploiting us. Our work built the foundation of this country ,its economy, its culture, its power. We deserve acknowledgment for our contributions &respect for our resilience, not hate designed to hide the truth.

As R2 has detailed, compare to early 1990's when CEO pay was 60X a co.'s median pay. Are CEO's 15 times more valuable relative to the average worker since then? Absurd. Instead it represents a major de-valuation of the contributions of everyone except the C-suite.

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps. McDonald's CEO raked in $20.5M in 2025 — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay. Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 958x the company's median employee pay. See the problem?

Thom Tillis: Any conditions you impose are worthless empty gestures. They lie about everything, and I hope you're not lying to yourself that they can be taken at their word about anything. Please don't screw this country any more than you already have by condoning Trump's corruption and incompetence

Y don't reporters ask R leadership what they're preventing by requiring photo ID? Photo ID prevents only one thing--voter impersonation. Doesn't happen. Y? Too easy to get caught, and doesn't produce big numbers. Make them explain why ID is so critical when it doesn't fix any problem.

ICE fatally shot a man in Houston yesterday. Agents arrested a nun on her way to mass. An Afghan who helped the U.S. military died in ICE detention, one of at least 21 people to die in detention this year. The headlines have moved on, but Trump is still waging his reign of terror.

A Michelle Obama Appreciation Post: I deeply admire your elegance, graciousness, beauty, accomplishments, relatability & effortless class. Thank you for being one of the greatest First Ladies of all time!🙏 Much ❤️ from one of your countless fans, Mar🐫

To: feedback@USDA.gov Would somebody please tell Brooke Rollins that every time she blames Biden Admin for Trump's idiocy she exposes herself as the complete idiot and bumbling fool that she is? It's insulting to the American public and truly outrageous. Sincerely, John Nestico Charlotte, NC
