I have bathed 3 cats and i am mostly unscathed, just a few superficial wounds including 1 bite from the old girl which i was not expecting at all. It took 8 towels so now i guess i’ll wash towels too. Sunday Funday. 🤣

Was heading out to fill the feeders and the water dishes and it was woodpecker time at the pool. Ive never seen flickers on the deck but we are 25” behind on rain (Oct-Oct) so i guess everyone is having to share limited resources. 🪶

I couldnt be happier with how this turned out. Great family piece. 1955 to 1960 Lodge 3 notch skillet. My grandmother and mother likely never washed it with soap. Guess what? You can wash them with soap now. 🤣 i was guilty too but i have atoned.

There is a path from the oak to the water dishes that these guys/gals follow. The water dishes are at the base of the oak, a direct path, but they always circle around to the rocks and approach. Paranoid little shits. 🤣

Oh look. It has markings! First time ive seen those. 🤣 This is the first layer of beeswax & grapeseed oil applied before it goes in the oven at 450F for an hour, cools in the oven for an hour and repeats 3 more times. It might not all happen today. 🤣 So its a 1965 to early 70’s oven. Cool.
