After 6 meetings in the day it was nice to get out and do some delivery before it got dark.

Was able to get out and do an hour of delivery this afternoon 📬

This week, I've been in Parliament pushing for changes to our political system, but there was still time to meet with Royal Mail about deliveries in Stockport, visit Abbeyfield House supported living and check in with Starting Point in Woodley. #LisaSmartMP #constituency #community

Canvassing with Mark Jewell this evening. This pothole is so old that the white ‘to be repaired’ lines have faded 😮 Reform are getting tetchy after being found to be utterly failing to look after Preston’s roads. Missing targets, rinsing motorists with their bus gates and putting up council tax.

Two fantastic days working with Lib Dem staff in Cumbria and Stockport. Planning and assessing our campaigns for the local elections next year.

Nice bit of morning delivery in Ashton 📬 In wide multi-party elections, Lib Dems have virtually no path to victory without consistent effort. Doing my bit 💪

Good Saturday canvass session in the Sharoe Green area of Preston North. Interesting to see the weakening of Reform support in their voters since May.

Getting my steps in this morning in Ashton 📬 Lots of rumours about council reorganising (LGR) swirling around…luckily our leaflet says the Govt might change the minds from week to week 🤷🏻‍♂️

Watched Toy Story 5 (another great 🍿) but made me guilty about not playing with my toys 😆 Outside of Conference it’s been a tough few weeks… nice to start some painting again🎨

Chilled out Sunday starting with pulled pork nachos. The boys waiting for scraps…they’ll be disappointed

Getting my steps in in between the rain 🌧️ Delighted by how the North Lancs areas have come together. Thousands of doors knocked on in August 🚪leaflets & surveys being done The 2027 locals will be the biggest in decades & the Lib Dems in North Lancashire are going to give it everything we’ve got 💪

Off work this week but the campaigning continues…especially while the sun is out ☀️

2nd day of my first major #Warhammer40k tournament saw me get 2 wins out of 2 🎉 Congrats to Mani Cheema 🏆 I placed 159th out of 220+ (beaten by the players placed 56th, 80th & 121st) Brilliant weekend with top people. Thanks to the Blackpool lads for taking me under their wing.

Fantastic action day in Clitheroe. There are 4 seat up in Clitheroe in the new unitary elections next year. A top target for the Lib Dems is to win them all. Let’s go 🔶💪👍

Fantastic weekend action day in the Cottam area of Preston West. Hundreds of doors knocked on. Loads of positive feedback from residents about our campaigns and hard work. Lack of new schools came up on just about every door.

Happy Reacher Day for all those (especially my wife) who celebrate 💪

First levelling off on my weight loss. Around 3st down but nothing in the last month. Had to buy new clothes this week 👖 nice that my waist is less than my age…but that does get easier with each year 😆

Getting back into the #warhammer hobby had been such a fantastic thing for me. Loads of fun, new friends, great stress reliever and I’ve also got to enjoy being creative and crafty. Some recycled polystyrene sheets and I’ve created a giant imperial bridge as a huge battlefield centre piece 😀
