“In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.” Albert Camus — Right now, you’re in a ‘winter’ of illness and exhaustion, but your strength is still there, waiting. Trust it.

Tariffs Are Distorting Supply Chains: Manufacturers are increasingly absorbing costs but plan to pass them on — especially in metals, packaging, textiles, floor coverings. Shipping rates have cooled after front-running tariff orders suggesting a brief pause, not normalization.

It’s getting tougher to find a job! Initial Jobless Claims: Fell by 10k to 236k, below expectations (243k), but the 4-week average remains elevated at 245k—near August 2023 highs. Continuing Claims: Rose to 1.974 million, a new cycle high and highest since Nov 2021. #stagflation

🇨🇦 Canada dumped $57.8B in U.S. Treasuries in April — 13.5% of its total holdings. 📉 Biggest single-month liquidation since at least 2000. Message received: allies are rethinking exposure. #Canada #Treasuries #BondMarket

Not just a blue state. Not just a progressive state. A harbor state. A place where people under threat from their own governments, families, or states can land, breathe, and rebuild. #RefugeState

The real question for California isn’t just about immigration. It’s whether the state will become a true refuge—for LGBTQ+ people, for trans youth, for those fleeing political persecution within the United States. #SanctuaryState

June 12, 1943: The Nazis liquidated the Brzeżany Ghetto (now Berezhany, Ukraine), executing ~1,180 Jews at the old Jewish cemetery. Never forget. Memory is resistance. Silence is complicity. #Holocaust #OnThisDay #HistoryMatters

Tyranny must always be opposed, but the people must be the ultimate check on power, not just the courts. Public engagement, debate, and electoral participation are more powerful than endless legal battles. If Trump’s actions are truly harmful, the people should reject him through democratic means.

Two things I found interesting in this podcast. 1) Everyone is buying TP (fighting the last war) when in fact it may be your HVAC that can't be fixed this summer. 2) I think she called it 'web scrubbing', watching how many items are left on amzn. (bet we see that become a thing). 1/2
