A combo of sloppy and poor scrabble tonight. I got away with RA*, SMAS* (SMA only) and RIOTISED* because I needed a bingo and I missed DIORITES oops. Still 2 wins, but not high level play.

1-2. Bad draws. Exchanged the Q 3 times in game 1 and drew it 4 times. Still could not play it. Scored just 275. Next game exchanged Q once and drew it again. Final game the Q fucked off. EtCHINGS 92, GOBBETS 81, SWEEPING 95, ANTIARS 72

Tortured Souls 3 by RZRider_ is over! What a hack! This is the toughest kaizo to date I have beaten. 133 hours. (my timer didn't count about 4 hours of offline play). Great level design, custom bosses, and music ports. More of a challenge than what I was expecting. 11/10 play this hack.

Finally a 3-0 scrabble session with some nice ass bingos. CABILDO, LAGNAPp(E), (W)AtERBED, ENTASIA, R(A)NKNESS later hooked with F, (S)TRAdIOT, and (E)NSEAlED. Game 2 was a blocked up mess. Felt lucky to break out a win there.

1-2 tonight. 5 bingos, but my highest scoring word was SILK for 99. I lost a turn to CASEITY* which I thought was the state of being cheesy like how gassy is to GASEITY. I have an opportunity to play a tourney next month. Maybe I should start getting good again.

0-3 tonight. the last game I mistracked Deen and gave him an out bingo of (M)EDICANT. I thought he had NICTATE(D) or TETANIC. I couldn’t block both so I blocked one of them. Oops! Matt had BONDAGES 2x2 for 98, then QUOTIENT 2x2 for 118 in b2b turns. Shafique got a late bingo too and good defence.

Experienced some nature today

2-1 tonight. I wanted to play SPOUTIEr instead of POUTIESt and take all the points for the triple-triple there but I wasn't sure. I did chicken out on IMPLE(A)CH, and I chickened out on A(BORD) which enabled me to play AWAI(T)ING. So lots of sloppy mistakes tonight. 5 bingos.

Been scrapping my way through Tortured Souls 3. This Dragon King guy went down tonight. Let's just say it took a few tries. :-D feels good getting this part of the game done though.

2-1 tonight. Got away with MORAI* thinking of MORIA which Deen used the M to phony with MORPHOSE for 102. I had 2 blanks on my rack and had him on hold for 10m. I figured I could outrun with ReFUTeD so I let the phony go. Drew 💩 against Matt. Eked out a narrow win against Heidi.

Ever since switching to an Ikape conical portafilter my target weight of coffee beans is 16.66g instead of 18g. I’m pulling shots of a Colombian light roast these days. Happy Goat: Finca San Gabriel. It’s magically ominous on days where I pour exactly 16.66g first try, when one bean is ~0.1g

So I was streaming kaizo. Newcomer in chat. I and my chat just can’t quite tell if it’s a bot. At one point, the entity types names of random cars. Maybe one a minute. Like “Ford Aerostar”. My entire chat erupts typing “Honda CRX”, “Subaru Crosstrek” etc. It was both hilarious and surreal 🤣.

1-2 again tonight. Just 4 bingos, not great tiles, and 2 world class opponents. Great games! The only thing I did wrong against Adam was leave the blank in the bag. I had to play BR(I)TT to stop RETINE(N)e/INTER(N)Ee. Adam's going to be gone for a bit, so it was good to play him before he goes.

1-2 tonight. didn't draw well against Sue. Played RUGELACH for 98 missing ARCHLUTE for 194 vs Matt. Then finally had a 3 bingo win vs Chris. Was still fun. Good to see both Jason and Sue at the Ottawa club tonight.
