people always like to talk scary shit about australian animals, but what you dont realise is we also get emails from schools with subject lines like this

every "ai is getting this simple thing wrong" post is a chance to share this

Jason Koebler@jasonkoebler.bsky.social

In the last few weeks i've been bombarded with emails from people who have minor tech support problems. ChatGPT is telling them to email me, writing their emails, and compiling "evidence packets" after convincing them they have stumbled on a major story: www.404media.co/chatgpt-keep...

zero understatement here, but endtroducing + the solesides double album blew the front door off in terms of me listening to hiphop for the next 25 years

Jeff Weiss@passionweiss.bsky.social

On the 30th anniversary of "Endtroducing....", @agspinelli.bsky.social spoke w/ DJ Shadow about creating his instrumental hip-hop masterpiece, forming the SoleSides crew, sample clearance, the influence of DJ Premier & Prince Paul, David Axelrod, Twin Peaks & more. www.powmag.net/p/dj-shadow-...

weirdly invested in harry kane wining the ballon d'or not because he's english, but because he's harry kane, the most un-ballon d'or dude this side of dan burn

(focusing your rage on those responsible instead of pining for a series that's long in the dirt might be more productive for you in the long run)

I appreciate that people want a new Mass Effect, but the future where fans advocate for the work itself and not the people who make it is the one the vultures at EA want. If you'll take it however you get it, they can keep treating people who make what you love as expendable.

my first feature for inside baseball week 2026 is live and it couldn't be much more inside baseball than writing about games media. thanks so much to everyone for taking part, this was not a fun thing to talk about

6500 is a also a huge, huge deal, and something we'll hopefully get to soon. we've hit the limits pretty much on what we can do or learn ourselves, there's some important growth and business stuff that we'd absolutely love to get professional help with

made the terrible mistake of watching the latest matrix movie over the weekend and man, I see what they were going with the self-referential stuff, but the whole thing was shot so cheap it felt like a 00s tv adaptation

3 & 4 โ€“ Aston Villa are the first side to win three successive Premier League games against Manchester City since Liverpool in December 2016 and the first to win four successive home league matches since Spurs in February 2023. Heroes.

while you port and emulate games, I ported Jira to my PSP

lot of valid criticisms in the game's steam reviews about it being shallow, but also it costs the same as a movie ticket, i had a fun couple of hours running through it.

its deeply upsetting that we've become so accustomed to giant tech platforms abandoning any kind of responsibility for moderation that people just default to strategies to protect themselves but valve makes BILLIONS from steam, they should be the ones protecting the products on their shopfront!

"we need to show games in person" "we need to show games later" "there are too many games and too much AI, what are we going to do?" motherfucker what is VALVE GOING TO DO, they take 30% of every sale! this is on them!
