I’ve been a huge fan of Wil Wheaton since junior high when I saw him play Gordie LaChance in STAND BY ME. Today I found out he read my sci-fi horror novel VEIL and recommended it, and I’m geeking out like you wouldn’t believe. Thank you, Wil! You freaking rock!

Huge thanks to The Seattle Times for choosing MARLA as one of four mystery/thriller novels to round out your summer reading. I loved this part: “Marla” is grisly, emotionally charged horror with a warning readers would be wise to remember: Keep your eyes down." www.seattletimes.com/entertainmen...

Regarding “Moonflowers” (the bonus novelette that’s a prequel to MARLA).

Richard Quist@rmquist.bsky.social

Make sure you read @jonathanjanz.bsky.social's MARLA prequel story, MOONFLOWERS, included as a bonus in the hardcover edition from @blackstonepub.bsky.social. It's every bit as good and creepy as the main story!

I finished Marla by @jonathanjanz.bsky.social today! What an amazing novel. This is my new favorite by him, and he has a lot of books. I can't wait for the new release so I can read the short story in it. A must-have if you haven't read it yet. I do have questions, but still a great book.

I'm up kind of late, reading Marla by @jonathanjanz.bsky.social. I hit the 100th page, and what a gut punch it was. I was not expecting the person named to be dead. It wasn't even a consideration in my head when the house was mentioned. Great job there.
